my school is finally letting my grade wear makeup this year and i'm totally excited, but i don't know what makeup i should wear. i have a very square face brown hair brown eyes. any tips?

school is casual looking makeup for the day. For a unigue look, use dark purple mascara to bring out your eyes, some silver eyeshadow and lipgloss.

another day you can use a reddish gloss on your lips, and classic mascara. I recommend burt's bees lipshimmer in papaya for fall and winter, b/c of its orange-tones, and colorstay lip color in a red or pink in spring and summer.

for a gym day, use mascara, and if possible waterproof with gloss.

All days, tinted moisturizer can be used for a base, and if your skin is oily, use instead owder foundation.

experiment with diffrent colors on the weekend, and find ytour favorite look.

If you experiment in the morning, you may have time crunch issues.

CVSand other drug stores have really nice makeup that is pretty cheap but name brand and works well. I recommend maybeline, revlon, covergirl, burt's bees etc.

well, try light blue eyeliner, my friend wears this all the time, and she has same colors as you, looks great.

always wear masacara, not black, ugly w/ brown eyes. try grey or brown, Maybelline works fabulously, it is my hero!

and, light lipgloss, no too heavy, always wear powder and sunscreen, heavy foundation is not necessary, and makes you look like you have too much make-up on, just a little suncreen to make the powder stick and protect against the sun, and powder, to lighten skin and cover blemishes, and helps with shine.

go simple.

if its just school, go with the basic mascara [i prefer brown]

and an eyeliner, brown eyeliner, or purple, or black.

depends on your mood and which you like best.

also, i dont like liquid foundation, it makes me feel like theres i dk a bag or something over my face, and i cant breathe [lol my skin].

i use a powder, a bronzer on random occasions, and always always blush. dont make the blush a brightttt pink, that looks ridicolous.

always wear chapstick or lipgloss.

NYC makes yummmmy lipgloss that stays on.

mascara-i suggest either covergirl or maybelline.

eyeliner-covergirl all the way :).

powder-WHATEVER MATCHES YOUR SKIN TONE PERFECT.

dont be like those girls who get the dark powder too "make them look tanner". - it ends up looking like crap. and you have a gross line on your chin. NOT attractive.

lol and blush- i love NYC's and its EXTREMLYY cheap;; well compared too some.

sometimes its hard to find NYC, but i know my local CVS and walmart carry it. my walgreens doesnt.

use everything at the same time and look like a clown! mmm.

or you could stick with blush, mascara, and eye shadow for a subtle look.
