What would my hair look like with pink or blue tips?

i have brown/black hair and im thinkin to get blue or pink but imm diggin the blue more ..4 the end of my hair can you please show me some pics or should i not get it its really hard HELPPP please

What would my hair look like with pink or blue tips?

i'd get blue tips, i had blue bangs before with medium brown hair and it looked really good, i dont think that the dramatic change between dark brawn/black, and pick would look too good, and if you do decide to dye it if you have a sally beauty by you they have this amazing blue dye... it costs ten bucks but comes with the bleaching thing in it too and its all done in one step super easy.... its called N'Rage in electric blue if i recall.. but remember that after the few months the dye will wear off but you're tips will still be bleached ... so you'll have to get them trimmed or dyed back to your natural color Good Luck have FUN ^_^

first, you probably wanna grow out your layers...

you can take a little hair from behind your ears on each side, twist them loosely, and clip them toether on top, with a sparkly clip or a glittery barette. glitter looks good.

How should I dye my hair? Streaks, tips, or what?

I have a medium length, heavily layered haircut, and my hair is auburn. I've been thinking of dying my hair underneith black(the very bottom layer). Also at school I saw this girl who had a streak running along the bottom edge of her bangs. She didn't just dye the tips because the streak of color was about an inch above the tips of her bangs. I was thinking of getting that in black as well. What do you think? Also, I REALLY NEED PICTURES of those styles I described. Especially of that bangs streak tip thing, I can't find ANY pictures of that. Also, If you know a website with a collection of hair dying styles (streaks, tips, skunk streaks, ect.) the link would be appreciated. Please help!

http://s150.photobucket.com/albums/s111/...

Lighten hair blonde?

Go get it professionally dyed light blonde, because if you do it yourself trust me it'll end up looking all orange y and washed-out. So once you get it dyed, buy sun-in, but not the lemon one, just the original one (the lemon makes your hair look really yellow). So use the sun-in and go out in the sun a lot, but don't use it every day because sun-in is basically just peroxide with a little enhancements. Use it about twice a week. And also buy blonde shampoo, conditioner and other hair products for blonde hair. The shampoo and conditioner will keep is soft and silky. And get your hair dyed every couple months. Another thing you could do is just get subtle highlights so it's not such a dramatic change.

Lighten hair blonde?

wqell if ur gunna dye it light and have dark hair ur suppose 2 bleach it than dye it over that 2 get the color u want

My hair has been so drab lately.. Any tips?

I used to have great, shiney, full, long hair. Lately it seems scragly.. dull, and a little thinner. I just had it colored blonde and trimmed. What's up?

My hair has been so drab lately.. Any tips?

How are your iron levels? When I was anemic, it showed in my hair, it fell out %26amp; looked dull, but now that my iron levels %26amp; other nutrients are back to normal my hair looks much better. Also, when I was vegetarian it did a number on my hair. Maybe rule out any medical causes, it seems to be quite common.

My hair has been so drab lately.. Any tips?

You may need a shampoo and conditoner for blonde hair they are sold everywhere just don't get one that says it eliminates brassy tones. It could make your hair more dull. get one for warm or natural tones

I was wondering if i could have a few tips on how to wear my hair(its just above my shoulders)?

I cut my hair about 3 months ago and it has grown a bit but i was wondering for any ideas on how to wear your hair when its 1cm above your shoulder, mainly ideas to have your hair tied up (for school) but i know that my hair will be the right length in one year so i can't wait:)

I was wondering if i could have a few tips on how to wear my hair(its just above my shoulders)?

use your hair as a fashion accessory. some fun updos that are easy and quick (less than 5 min) that i like to use for school and casual days at work now are a low messy bun with face framing pieces, a high pony (classic statement of fashion), throw it back into whatever you want and then put on a super cute headband that you like. headbands have made a big comeback. personally, my favorite is to put a headband in and go because its cute and quick.

I was wondering if i could have a few tips on how to wear my hair(its just above my shoulders)?

Curl it!

Help need hair styling tips for short hair?

I have very short hair and like to spike it up. I use straghteners but because my hair is very heavy it tends to curl at the ends. Can any one tell me products or tips to keep it dead straight all i use at the mo is strong gel eand hairs spray.

Help need hair styling tips for short hair?

use your curls to your advantage! I also have short hair, and it is stick straight, and I wish I had curl in it to make it easier to do the "messy look". If you are spiking, I recommend Bedhead Hardhead. It is the best stuff i have found (I use to use Ice Spiker, but you cant get Ice brand stuff anymore! boo-hoo!). It is really tacky, and work it in your fingers first before putting it on DRY hair. It will hold even in humid weather.

Change up your style a little, mess up the back, and leave the front down. Slick it all down w/ a side part and a glitzy headband or barette (think 50's). Try to mess it all up, and put on a thick chuncky headband or scarf for color!

Hair straightening tips?!?!?

I have A LOT of big, wavy, frizzy, tangly hair.... any tips for straightening without completely frying my hair.

Hair straightening tips?!?!?

Well if you want to keep your hair straight for at least a few while, there are some salons that offer Japanese thermal straightening. It can get quite pricy though. In my area, there are salons that charge around $100, but every area pricing is different. I have asked a stylist, and she noted that people with lots of hair problems(similar to yours) prefer this method as it makes cleaning and styling easier. If you want more info on this click on this link:

http://www.citycut.us/thermal-reconditio...

If you want to do this, then you might want to save up some money and call salons that do this and potentially ask for an estimated cost. Good Luck!

Hair straightening tips?!?!?

paddle brush with a blow dryer, a flat iron works well, use a anti-frizz hair product that contains silicone

Hair straightening tips?!?!?

Brush out your hair really good and then clip it into sections to straighten it... if you have really big, poofy hair you probly have to fry it because you have to straighten it every day...or you can get a straight perm, they dont always keep your hair completely straight but they sure make it alot straightER and easier to handle....

Hair straightening tips?!?!?

my hair is kind of the same. i bought hang strait...you put it in ur hair and it keeps it strait all day.....i put that in first and then use a chi straightner

Hair straightening tips?!?!?

It all depends on the kind of hair you have. I use a product called Kemi oil. You can get in at Sally's Beauty Supply. Smooth a little on a small section of hair at a time and then straighten with a flat iron. Start in the back and go section by section Use sparingly! you can add more i but if you over do it your hair will look super oily... Good Luck!

Hair extension tips .....?

i wanna get hair extensions.

- my hair is barely past my shoulders .

- i dont want big brands .

- costs ?

- where can i get them ?

- should i do them myself [ can i ?? ] or should i go to a stylist ??

ps; i live in alberta .

tips pleaseee

Hair extension tips .....?

I havent ever had extensions but I wanted them so I did some research on them. Most that I saw were pretty expensive. It typically costs more if you go to a hair dresser and have them put them in, but I think it would be worth it because they know what theyre doing and they would make sure they look good and will stay in. If you dont want to have a hair dresser do them then you can get extensions at a local beauty supply store or some places online. Getting them in person is probably best because you can make sure you like the color and texture.

I hope this helps! :)

Hair extension tips .....?

You really cant do them yourself.. Cost? it depends on what kind u want, You can get fake hair extensions which are cheaper around 20 dollars a pack But u cannot wash them or anything like that and then there is Real human hair which u can buy which u will probally preferr but it is much more expensive, its 40 a pack here.. You get them from any beauty supply store.. U can either get them glued in which takes about 3-4 hours or SEWED IN which takes a good 4-10 hours

Hair extension tips .....?

at sallys beauty supply they have different lengths.

i got mine from there.

if you want temp. ones, then get clip ons. but you can get glue in too.

depending on your length its how much it costs.

if you want 12" then its about 15$ and 18",30-80$

and then you buy the glue.

you can only wash your hair in cold water.

and after you put them in,you cant wash your hair for 4 days.

and i recomend black people hair lotion to keep it clean.

%26amp; dont leave conditionair in too long or they will come out.

%26amp; getting it done porfessionally is a lot of money.

if you want to waist money on it fine,if not get a friend with hair experience to do them.

hope that helped.

Hair extension tips .....?

Hair extension are a big deal due to cost, time involved and maintenance. You must get a good quality of hair. Cheap hair will break, tangle and be a literal headache. Your extension tech is your best source for hair. You must go to an extension specialist. They will explain everything to you. The rule is the longer the hair, the smoother the texture and lighter the color the more expensive the hair. Look to spend anywhere from $300-600 for hair alone. (US dollars.)

My hair is really greasy, any tips?

I wash it every other day, but it's still greasy.

I hate washing it everyday because I have to straighten it afterward and it gets annoying.

My hair is really greasy, any tips?

The best solution to ALL hair problems is... change ur shampoo! my hair is greasy too i have to wash it every day... its not as anoying for me cuz its already str8... but it IS time consuming since my hair is long.... odds are ur shampoo just isn't doing it for you.... find one that was meant to reduce oily hair. and vice versa for dry hair. =)

My hair is really greasy, any tips?

yah, um look up on the internet greasy hair, and i bet it will give u a bunch of home remdies (like stuff u can make with at-home food stuff)to try out for getting rid of greasy hair!

My hair is really greasy, any tips?

Try Dawn dish soap. It works for me.

My hair is really greasy, any tips?

My hair is the opposite!

could you give me some tips!

My hair is really greasy, any tips?

dont use conditioner. and try to wash it every day. Also eat healthy foods. you are what you eat, and that affects your hair

My hair is really greasy, any tips?

well if it gets greasy after you know, a day like mine, then i would start taking showers every night and so in the morning you can straighten it. i use garnier nutrisse. trust me, it works. oh and dont worry, i have to straighten my hair, too and so all i have to do is get up, eat breakfast, get dressed, and do my hair.

My hair is really greasy, any tips?

I have ---Had--- the same problem, my dermatologist suggested "t-gel; ultra-strength", i was like,"umm, isn't that for dandruff?" and he said that the chemicals in it balance out ur hair type, so it shud work for you too, hope i helped!

My hair is really greasy, any tips?

Dishsoap is really good or you can buy go buy a Tea tree Shampoo. I use the generic one sold at Sally beauty. It strips all the oils and impurities from you hair and has a tingly minty feel.

My hair is really greasy, any tips?

I know how you feel, but to hide grease in between washing days, get some baby powder and a make-up brush. Dip the make-up brush in the baby powder and brush around the roots of your hair. Make sure you don't put too much on, though, because it will look like you have a dandruff problem. It should soak up most of the oil. If the baby powder is too light for your hair color, use a facial powder in the same color of your hair, that should blend in more.

My hair is really greasy, any tips?

try washing it everyday use a clarifying shampoo and don't use conditioner.

My hair is really greasy, any tips?

put baby powder on it but dont put to much or else i'll look like you have dandruff.

My hair is really greasy, any tips?

Have you tried a malibue treatment? Sometimes build up can make hair greasy. Also color or highlights helps with greasy hair. Good luck!

My hair is really greasy, any tips?

Try putting baby powder in your hair while it's dry.

My hair is really greasy, any tips?

wash it nasty

Hair Dye Tips/Help?

I want to dye my hair with unnatural colors.

No, not the whole thing, just the sidebangs.

What colors would look best with brunette hair?

I really want unnatural shades, and I ATLEAST want

two or three colors.

Please share tips, pictures, experiences, anything.

Hair Dye Tips/Help?

I have dark brown hair, and I love the color combo of Purple, Lime Green, and Turqoise :)

Hair Dye Tips/Help?

I really like dark red or burgendy in brown hair.

Hair Dye Tips/Help?

When you say unnatural shades, do you mean colors like pink, blue, and purple?

I would go with a crimson red, and papaya color. Maybe do the bangs in both shades, then have highlights put throughout. They'll have to bleach the strands first, then add the color afterwards. You cannot lift color with color. I've died my hair brown before, and had the crazy papaya shade put in it. It was awsome. Really creates contrast. Its like a bright orangey pink. somewhere in between really.

Good luck

My hair is always messy any tips it is to thick wavy and uncontroble?

My hair's the same way. Right after you wash it, comb it through. Put a blob of hair gel in your hands and rub your hands together, then run your fingers all throughout your hair to evenly distribute the gel.

Comb your hair again, and just let it dry naturally. Don't brush or comb your hair. The less you touch it the better it will stay.

I got this tip from a magazine years ago and have been doing it for years.

My hair is always messy any tips it is to thick wavy and uncontroble?

try stargtening it that usually makes it look really good on me it should on u too

My hair is always messy any tips it is to thick wavy and uncontroble?

If you have a fringe, then i suggest straightening. Straighten the fringe first, then go on to your hair. Tie it up in a pony- tail and you're done. Easy!

My hair is always messy any tips it is to thick wavy and uncontroble?

Heyy!! Well if you can wet it sometimes and then mousse it with a good curling mousse i should be more controlable. But if you want you should DEF. straighten it.But it also depends on what kind of hair you have if its full and curly i would go to a dominican hairstylists!!THey leave your hair straightened absolutely GORGEOUSSSS!!lol you sould try it its like 150 dollars.WEll hope this helps make wonders!!MWAH!閳俱儮娅忛埦?br>My hair is always messy any tips it is to thick wavy and uncontroble?

mine is the same way.. I have really long, wavy and thick hair.

I would suggest straightening it, but not too often as it will dry it out and even make it more frizzy and uncontrolable. You can try getting it professionally straightened, which can last a few months. But dont do this too often either.

If you feel comfortable doing it, I suggest cutting some off as well. Or getting a trim and getting rid of the split ends that tend to frizz your hair as well.

When you do your hair, this is what I do, use hair gel. It "flattens" the hair and allows you to do more with it.

I also braid my hair sometimes, or pull it up into a bun with a twist.

But i use gel with any hairstyle. The summertime is horrible when doing your hair, so I try to keep it up as much as possible or set.

My hair is always messy any tips it is to thick wavy and uncontroble?

once, my hair was so messy cos i was very, very lazy to comb it(at that time, i have this cute short-haircut). but now it's getting longer, and i've decided to keep it and now it's nice and tame..here's my tips...

1)brush your hair-always...

2)use a suitable hair brush

3)do not shampoo your hair regularly (it will make your hair

dry), once in a while will be fine.

4)use moisturiser-it's good for wavy hair.

5)after shampooing your hair(shampoo is an alkaline)-it will

get very dry, use limes or lemons(lime is an acid)to

neutralise your hair!

G*@d luck!!

My hair is too short, any tips to make it grow?

My moms friend put aloe vera in her shampoo and uses it daily, It makes ur hair grow and shiny. I tried it! It also helps with split ends...

My hair is too short, any tips to make it grow?

keep it clean and wait.

My hair is too short, any tips to make it grow?

Quit getting it cut.

My hair is too short, any tips to make it grow?

Dont cut it.

My hair is too short, any tips to make it grow?

Straighten it and/or get one of those fake pony tails!

My hair is too short, any tips to make it grow?

I am trying desperately to grow my hair our for my wedding in September and I have been taking prenatal and they work really well! Also, try taking some biotin with it, that helps.

And...when you shampoo your hair, kind of massage your scalp, this will stimulate your hair follicles.

Good luck!

My hair is too short, any tips to make it grow?

Quit cutting it. Seriously, there is no way to make your hair grow faster. I think my hair grows faster in the winter than summer, but that could just be my imagination.

My hair is too short, any tips to make it grow?

Just take good care of it. Get it trimmed when you have split ends, always condition and do not do anything to stress it out, like chemicals or straightening or blow drying. I hear prenatal vitamins work too, but I never tried them.

My hair is too short, any tips to make it grow?

i had the same problem my hair was really short and damaged i bought some deep conditioner and and deep conditioned it once a week you should also make sure that you ends are clipped about once a month if you want you hair to grow healthy if you style your hair using heat(flat irons, blow dryers, curling irons etc.) you should reduce the amount of times you use them and surely your hair will grow

P.S - if you regularly use chemical products try to cut down on them it would help

My hair is too short, any tips to make it grow?

I think that's Mother Nature's job. Otherwise, I don't know. Anything man creates to improve on anything will ultimately do more harm than good in the long run. Just let nature take it's course. If your that self conscious about it, wear a baseball hat. But that will take longer for your hair to grow though. Just a suggestion.

My hair is too short, any tips to make it grow?

This may sound stupid but the best way to stimulate growth is to brush your hair every day. I don't give a crap what anyone says, this DOES work.

My hair is too short, any tips to make it grow?

Believe it or not, keep getting it trimmed. It stimulates your hair cuticles. Also when you shampoo make sure you wash it with vigor like your hair dresser does. Other than that, time. It only took me 3 years to get from just below my ears to the middle of my back.

Good luck!

My hair is too short, any tips to make it grow?

Drink vitamis, calcium, zink a lot of water and get a lot of sleep ;)

Hair problem:the roots of my hair are oily while the tips are dry. what treatment an i use?

if you condition then make sure you dont put it on your scalp, only on the ends, same thing if you use hair products (except voluming creme) keep it away from the roots. If you don't use any then almost every shampoo brand makes specific shampoos for oily hair, just read the lable. If you straighten or curl your hair, even if you blow dry it everyday make sure you put some kind of heat protection on the tips.

Hair problem:the roots of my hair are oily while the tips are dry. what treatment an i use?

Omg, that happened to me too! But now my hair is A LOT better. I asked a professional hair dresser about this problem. She told me to not put conditioner on your head, just the hair hanging off, and after washing your hair, put mosturiser on only the hair that's not on your head, but do this when it dries after you shower.

It really works.

Hair problem:the roots of my hair are oily while the tips are dry. what treatment an i use?

mayo and eggs at ends only for 30 min while baby powder at roots for same length of time, than rinse off and not wash for 24 hours, repeat monthly

Anyone have any tips on how to cut my hair by my self? i want a better emo style...?

Ouch!!! If you need to cute your hair yourself, you should be able to do this........

-have good quordination

-be able to look in a miror from behind

-have as few distractions as possible

-have a pritty basic style picked out

Other than that, I don't know what to say sorry.

Can anyone give me some tips on how to tease my hair, particularly in a ponytail?

I love the look of teased hair, especially in a pony tail like this http://www.beautyriot.com/article.php?id... but my hair is really long and thick and I have a hard time making it poof up like that. Any hints, ladies?

PS- I know HOW to tease it... I just can never get it to work in a ponytail!

Can anyone give me some tips on how to tease my hair, particularly in a ponytail?

Note: Teasing to much can kill your hair, so take it easy!!!! DON'T TEASE TOO MUCH!!!!

Ok, while up in a pony tail, back comb it until its frizzy, then run fingers through it to calm the frizz! It looks nice!

Can anyone give me some tips on how to tease my hair, particularly in a ponytail?

Teasing is not nice!

Can anyone give me some tips on how to tease my hair, particularly in a ponytail?

just don't pull it tight.I do my hair like that all the time.

Can anyone give me some tips on how to tease my hair, particularly in a ponytail?

you should have someone thin out your hair. my cousin thinned out her hair before and now it isn't as thick.

Can anyone give me some tips on how to tease my hair, particularly in a ponytail?

why do you want to tease it? teasing it lift the scales on the folicle so they won't lay flat. if they don't lay flat, then your hair won't be smooth, healthy, or shiny. You'll get split ends, and there are no ways to repair split ends. you'd be better off finding another hair style that you like, that doesn't require teasing your hair.

+ I Need Hair Style Tips For Long Hair +?

I always put my hair into a pony tail because I don't know how to style it.

My hair is brown, It's straight, Goes a little more than half down my back, I have long layers, and My bangs go a little past my nose.

I'm sick of the pony tail look. I lost my curling Iron in our last move but I do have a round brush and hairdryer.

I'm also thinking on perming my hair but I don't want it to be damaged cause I have very healthy hair.

Or I'm thinking on cutting it but I'm afraid too! But I miss having shorter hair because I knew how to style it.

Please any tips or website links.

I'd cut it to a more managable length.

+ I Need Hair Style Tips For Long Hair +?

Keep your long hair. I have mine. Get a book on french braiding. You wouldn't believe all the combnations that I can do. Half braids, inside out, pulled low, pulled high. Also, get lots of different clips.

buy a new curling iron or get a flat iron and make it stick straight

i have long hair also and it is hard finding hairstyles. i've been putting half of my hair up to keep it out of my face, but if you want it off your neck you should probably in a flip ponytail or a bun. a flip ponytail is when you don't put your hair all the way through.

Your hair is really long, but I say that you should take prenatal pills. They dont have any side effects and since you are not pregnant it does not matter. There should be some stuff in the beauty shop also.

Does anyone have tips on how to make your hair grow really fast?

It might seem ridiculous but you should trim it every 4 to 6 weeks to keep it healthy and the most important part is to avoid heat from blow driers and irons, etc. You should take mulitvitamins that help your hair. By trimming it it will keep it strong and will help it grow a bit faster and by avoiding heat it will keep it from splitting and make it stronger as well.

Prenatal Vitamins. But beware: if you take any supplements to make you hair grow faster.. it makes all your hair grow faster, not just the hair on your head!

how about a skinny jeans instead of the white long skirt. I think it would look cute with you boots and plain top. As for you hair, I love it the way it is. And also, wear a scarf along with them and a newsboy cap for accessories.

The only thing I can think of is that if you wear any jewelry, I'd keep it very simple and silver in color. Wear it on the part of you that you want to call attention to - if it's your hands, wear rings, if it's your face wear earrings, your waist a belt - you get the idea.

Hair help/tips?

my hair is shoulder lengthe and blond-its wavey-any tips for a dance(not fancy just teen gurls and bois) These are all the supplies i have and can use:

garnier fructice extra hold hair putty

aussie flexable hair spray

hair bands

bobby pins

CAN ANY 1 MAKE SOMETHIN OF THIS

Hair help/tips?

3 ideas(I am a cosmetologist and I am experienced in updos)

1.take a bit of putty and distribute it throughout your hair while it is slightly damp, then section off 5 parts - crown, 2- front , 2- back,. twist each till it wraps around itself leaving out 2-3 inches at the end pin and allow to dry. then remove pins and shake it loose with a cool set blowdryer. this will result in a nice tosseled effect. spray lightly with hairspray.( practice it 1st)

2. scrunch dry with a bit of the putty, then take a section from the corners of your forehead back to the mid of the top of your head twist and pin, repeat this technique with each side pinning near the 1st section.Fluff everything to your liking then spray. That can complete the look for a half updo.

3. the easiest is to twist as if putting into a french twist but leave the hair coming out of the top of the twist and pin into place.then spray to secure.

Hair help/tips?

This is a really cut updo, do 2 french braids on each side of your head halfway back until you get to your crown, Hold them back seperately with rubber bands. bobby pin the back in kinda twists up where you stoped the braids so all the pieces are sticking out in a whispy sort of way. Adjust until you get them to stay up the way you want it too. Lightly spritz with hairspray.

Hair help/tips?

i think u should pin the bangs back ( not completely slicked back add some puff) and then make sure the rest is stick straight. then so osme really funky make-up because the main focus will be ur face

Tips for taking care of my mixed daughters hair?

ohhh it is a nightmare...she has the curls of her black heritage, the thickness and ability to grow of mine (I am white with EXTREMELY thick hair that grows almost an inch a month) and texture of just in between, so relaxers are OUT of the question.

She is 4. Everyday I use Motions Hair Lotion to condition her scalp and hair and use it to style the hair.

Twice a week we wash using Just For Me Shampoo and then condition with a heavy conditioner.

To brush her hair I use Loreal Detangler, and use Silken Child Deep Moustuirzing Hair Lotion to set and style and condition even further.

I have moustierization covered...her hair is only dry at night....I used to plat her hair 3 days out of the week and it seemed to manage the extreme tanlging, but last month she cut one of her braids off, so braiding it OUT of the question.

I am always looking for hair care tips.....so give me any adice you can.

Tips for taking care of my mixed daughters hair?

Ok, I'd first like to commend you. You have done far more than many women in your place would do. All too often I see biracial children walking around and I just want to take them home and do their hair! So good for you! Anyway, I'm not mixed, but my hair texture is extremely curly and very much like the hair of my bi-racial neice. Seriously the only way to keep the hair from being tangled is to comb only when wet with conditoner in it. As for styling, I recommend using products by www.curlz.biz. They have been featured in magazines all over the place it works great. I personally adore Missjessies.com products but they are more expensive and don't carry a line for children. I would NEVER recommend a relaxer for children or adults. Nor would I recommend cutting. This type of hair is diffucult to manage. It's a fact. We have all had to accept it girl. Now you do too! Unless you want to alter the natural texture of her hair, nothing will change the way it is. But there are products that will help in defining her curls so you don't have to always do the afro poof. Braids need to be your best friend. I know you said she cut one off..But all you have to do is keep her away from scissors and I'm sure after the stern talking to you gave her, she has learned her lesson. My cousins did the same thing, but that didn't stop mom from braiding their hair! How many kids have you seen with lopsided bangs? This is something they do, that shouldn't stop you from maintaining their hair. Especially this kind of hair! Not braiding it will be more trouble than braiding it! I wouldn't waste time straightening a child's hair because they run around and sweat it out in a day (as you've learned). Save the straight look for easter/church/temple.. whatever... When she's older flat ironing her straight with a ceramic iron (maxiglide, chi, hai) will be another option for you. By then you will have learned to wrap the hair at night to preserve the staight look. Wrapping the hair involves brushing the hair flat against the haid in a circular motion until all hair is wraped around the head in a flat nest. You must then use a silk/satan scarf to tie around the nest. As a child, my mother would use a pair of panty hose over the scarf because I slept wild and would often rip the scarf off of my head at night. Braiding and unbraiding the hair will help in creating more defined riglets that hang better as well. Stay away frpm heavy pomades and all that crap sold for "black hair"..though I use some..lol...most of it is for marketing purposes and contain chemicals that will eventually dry the hair out. Use natural oils and conditoners like avacdo, olive oil, sweet almond oil, tee trea oil....and even mayo! I buy all of my shampoos and conditioners from the vitaminne shop/GNC.

Good Luck!

Also..ignore the poster who said the longer itgets the easier itgets. The longer our hair gets, the BIGGER it gets.It won't grow in a downward direction. Instead it grows OUT! lol...

Tips for taking care of my mixed daughters hair?

try french braiding, it is good for short hair

Tips for taking care of my mixed daughters hair?

talk to a hair dresser. maybe is certain kind of cut will help.

Tips for taking care of my mixed daughters hair?

It seems like it would make your life a lot easier if you would just cut it off really short, maybe 1/2 inch or an inch long. You don't need to fix the hair. Even if it is long, just gather it up and put it in a pony-tail holder. You are spending way too much time trying to control her hair. She will get the idea there's something wrong with the way her hair is. The idea that black hair needs special treatment i think is obsolete. Stop trying to make her hair different than it is. Accept it. Cut it off would make life easier.

Tips for taking care of my mixed daughters hair?

Use an Egg Soak on her it will take about 6 of them then wash it out..Try using pure rain water put a container outside you could also try using beer as well.once a week this will thin it out my sister has a baby like yours and does this treatment

Tips for taking care of my mixed daughters hair?

No perms and wash it every Sunday or so. Also, straight it with a hot comb. I'm 12 and I'm mixed. My grandma straightens my hair with the hot comb and it's down my back. Also, when her hair gets puffy or caught in the rain, put it in a big puffy ponytail.

Tips for taking care of my mixed daughters hair?

my best friend is mixed with black and white her mom is white and her dad is black maybe when she get older you could give her a perm!1 but for now maybe you should cut it to shoulder length and straighten it and then you could french braid it it always works for my friend!! good luck!!

Tips for taking care of my mixed daughters hair?

ive been doing hair for 15 years,a relaxer is never out of the question cut her hair to the longest length you can eaily manage get her a mild relaxer apply it to her ends only and keep up your normal routine.

Tips for taking care of my mixed daughters hair?

my daughter is mixed also %26amp; i have had simliar problems. her hair is super-fine (can't use relaxers) %26amp; super-curly %26amp; there is a lot of it.

she has two options: keep it long %26amp; mommy has to do it every day (of course she hates that!) or cut it all off.

she has decided to keep it long (%26amp; why not? it's more like her friends %26amp; mommy); the main problem i continue to have is with dryness.

i use the aquage line of hair care products; it helps tremendously. we use their shampoo %26amp; conditioner, detangler %26amp; hydrating mist, %26amp; the gel if i'm braiding or doing pony tails.

i also found that keeping her hair trimmed (every 6 weeks) helps to keep it from getting so tangled. this process has worked the best for us.

i stay away from products formulated for "black" hair, b/c they use a lot of mineral oil, which does not moisturize; it just sits on the hair shaft. besides, hair is hair, no matter your skin color.

sounds like you are doing everything possible; good luck!

Tips for taking care of my mixed daughters hair?

Whatever you do DON'T listen to the girl who said cut it short! That will not help AT ALL...except make her look like a brillo pad and get picked on when she starts school! I have very curly hair, I'm not mixed but my hair is similar to that of someone who is...also my little cousin is mixed and she has hair like mine... this is what you do... not sure if it will help but try it out:

1) Keep it long.. because the longer it gets the heavier it gets, and that will reduce frizz and keep the curls nice.

2) Try a deep conditioner.. I know she is of Black Heritage but this may work well... Use a very deep conditioner and detangler, comb, not brush, in the tub...makes it much easier.

3) When finished try using a leave in conditioner on her hair or a conditoner mixed with water. spray or rub in hair all the way through.

4) Try using a product called noodle head they have product for curls... like gels and lotions.

ALSO..try other curly hair gel products... but DO NOT CUT IT!

Tips for taking care of my mixed daughters hair?

Whatever you do don't cut her hair she will regret it and so will you. I braid kids hair all day everyday if you live in or around Athens, Georgia holla at me i will hook you up for free. But a good tip is keep her hair washed and braided for the summer and when she goes back to school just add beads. She will love it trust me I know.

Fall and winter makeup tips for blonde hair and blue eyes?

I'm 27, with short blonde hair and deep blue eyes. My eyes have always been my best feature. I always use neutral colors, but was wanting something more "safisticated" looking. Any suggestions??????

Fall and winter makeup tips for blonde hair and blue eyes?

Eyes:

-nude shimmery eyeshadow/base

-taking a soft eyeliner pencil/crayon make an even line

-then with liquid liner trace over that line making it as straight as possible

-curl lashes

-rich, thickening mascara

Face

-dewy moisturizing foundation

-loose powder on t-zone

-soft shimmery, pink (dandelion by benefit)

Lips

-Pale pink lipgloss and run another pink lipstick over top

-or just a shiny sheer lipstick (jing-a-ling (that's the color) by benefit)

Hope I helped!

Fall and winter makeup tips for blonde hair and blue eyes?

hmmm use bright colours (eyeliner, mascara) to bring out your eyes even more. they will come out as more vibrant and even more noticeable.

there are also like colored mascaras that are pretty and colourful (:

Fall and winter makeup tips for blonde hair and blue eyes?

silver or baby blue.

Fall and winter makeup tips for blonde hair and blue eyes?

try doing the smokey eyes with dark plum or grey and black or dark grey eyeliner. use white as your base color for your whole lid then apply a medium color like a light pink or golden color and then apply the plum or grey in whichever smokey eye look you prefer. blend all the colors together with a good brush. line your top lid and half of your lower lid and apply mascara! Maybe try a darker pink blush and a darker lipstick for the winter. Go to Ulta and pick up some things and try them out, if you don't like them, return them for a full discount ;)

So i bleached the tips of my hair....?

my hair is like falling out and its not even turning out blonde. what do i do?please i need help!

thnkies :]

So i bleached the tips of my hair....?

you can't do anything to fix your hair breaking off.

you can condition and hope for the best...

sometime it just doesn't work.

So i bleached the tips of my hair....?

If it is justt he tips (ends) f your hai that you bleached then your hair falling out has nothing to do with that, if it is hte ends breaking off then you over bleached them and there really isn;t a whole lot you can do, be thankful it is the ends and next time go to a salon.

Use a reconstructor such as K-pak daily and maybe even go for a hair treatment once a week. You can get your hair back into a somewhat decent condition, but it is just the ends, I would cut them off and be over with it.

Hair drying tips?

I wake up at 5:30 am to get ready for school. I have to be ready to go at like 6:45

I let my hair airdry all the time....but i need some quick and easy hair drying tips that way i can have time to actually do my hair.

it would be nice if my hair was dry within like 15-20 minutes, without a lot of use of a hair dryer

THANX

Hair drying tips?

I have that same problem!

I wrap my hair in a towel right away, start to get dressed, dry my hair more with a towel, and then you only need to use the hair dryer a little bit!

If you multi-task, so much more can get done!

Hair drying tips?

wrap your hair in a towel for like 10 minutes and then you may need to use a blow dryer a little bit too.

Hair drying tips?

yeh i used to get up an hour earlier to have a shower and dry my hair, but I found that if u work a tangerine size amount of volume boost mousse and use a hair dryer, it takes less than 10 minutes to dry my hair.

alos, if you lean forward and tip your head forward, so your head is basically upside down and dry it like that for 5 minutes, its quicker.

if u dont want to use a hair dryer at all, put mousse in your hair and air dry your hair, but every 30 seconds, lift your hair from the roots with your fingers and ruffle it. this always dries my hair quicker.

have fun!

Hair drying tips?

Well, you really can't dry your hair in less than 20 minutes without using a hair-dryer. I agree, wrap your hair in a towel and blow dry the rest. I don't understand why would wonldn't want to use a hair-dryer...it can add more body and volume to yourt hair if you do it the right way. And, if you get a good one, they can dry your hair really fast. : )

Hair drying tips?

You should use a towel to put ur hair up in ur towel and leave it there for about 15 min. then brush and then it will be dry but it sometimes does only work but wat kind of hair u got!

Has anyone got any tips for straightening hair?

ive had straightners for about 18 months and the only time they have been out of the box is when a friend has done my hair . what is the easiest way to do it yourself

Has anyone got any tips for straightening hair?

I'm sure that SOMEONE has...

Has anyone got any tips for straightening hair?

my hair is thick so I do sections at a time. I first pin up half of all my hair and work in sections. I use a spray that reduces damage from the heat of the metal. Then you just... put your hair in the striaghtner and straighten!

Has anyone got any tips for straightening hair?

Just be careful not to burn yourself. Don't go to close to your head and DON"T FORGET THE BACK, haha. I had a friend do that, it was so funny.

Has anyone got any tips for straightening hair?

if ur hair is naturally somewhat straight or very loose waves ,wash it condition it and apply some straightening lotion or serum of your choice.let it air dry.first part ur hair from ear to ear, then down the center.you should have four sections of hair.Start with the back sections.Take lil pieces of hair from each section and pass the straight iron over it.If your hair is curly u are gonna have to work really hard.lol.my hair is curly and I usually blow dry it myself or roller set and then flat iron it.Then i put it in a wrap with bobby pins overnight. But i know how to do it cuz i worked at a salon.Try to blow dry it as best as you can with a big round brush then follow the steps above.

Has anyone got any tips for straightening hair?

TRY SUNSILK STRAIGHTING SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER

Has anyone got any tips for straightening hair?

my hair is very thick so i usually like clip[with a hair clip] it up and then do some of it at a time and keep doing that and if you would like suggestions for good hair straighteners please e-mail me [from my Answers profile] because my mother is a professional hair stylist and can help you with that

Has anyone got any tips for straightening hair?

It depends how thick your hair is or how curly. If it's very thick or curly then you'll want to take small sections at a time and run it through two or three times.

Don't put it on the highest heat, keep it towards the middle or middle/high.

Don't do it when you're hair is wet at all, because it'll burn off and you'll get fly-aways.

Tilt the straightener slightly in if you want it to curl in at the bottom. If you do it the right way you won't need any other products.

The first time you do it I wouldn't use any products at all before using it because it might burn your hair. Good luck!

Has anyone got any tips for straightening hair?

I also have extremely thick hair and like others have said the best way is to section it off. Pin some of it up with a clip or I usually use hair schruchi's, and get a straightning hair spray it really helps, and then just make sure that you start from the roots.

Hair dye-Tips on putting in tips? (see details)?

I'm going to put purple tips in my hair later today (semi-perm dye), but I've never done it before. My hair is kinda layered, but not layered enough where I can seperate it into different layers easily. Any tips on the best and easiest ways to go about doing this? Also I have bangs that I wear on one side of my face...should I tip those too? Thanx for the help!!

Hair dye-Tips on putting in tips? (see details)?

Keep the bangs regular.

1.Make lots of small ponytails (at least 17) on your head.

2.Mix your bleach up and dip each pony tail into the bleach. Wrap foil around the ends so that you don't drip everywhere. 3.After your hair has turned lighter %26lt;about 10-20 minutes%26gt; rinse your hair. %26lt;keep the ponytails.%26gt;

4. Then apply the purple to the tips of the ponytails and put a plastic bag over your hair. Sit for about 25 minutes.

5. Rinse and make sure you put a clear dye over it or else it will just wash out.

Hair dye-Tips on putting in tips? (see details)?

I did this also with purple ^.^

Okay, so I had the same problem. What you do, is section off your hair, and just do a section at time, doing the tips, [it works better if you have someone help you with the back].

I just seperated my hair into different sections (with pony tail holders) and just started.

I didn't do my bangs, but it's your hair.

Hair dye-Tips on putting in tips? (see details)?

Try to seperate using clips, or barrettes, or even tiny rubberbands. Without seperating it could be a big mess- equal to painting a house without taping anything off. To acheive brighter results you need to bleach the areas you want purple first, and then dye purple. If you don't bleach it first the result will be conservative and hard to see, unless you have bright blonde or white hair naturally. Hope this helps:)

ummm maybe change your avatr picture lol.

and scrucnh it

What are some tips for curly hair?

Put it up in a messy ponytail! dont try to make the pulled back hair smooth, because it will just look weird. Put gel or moose in it to keep it from frizzing. Moose is good if you like a little volume! I personally like moose better because it doesn't leave your hair as hard, which allows it to curl a little more. One tip is when your hair is wet, apply the moose with your head upside down and scrunch your hands towards your head. Then take a blowdryer with a diffuser on the end and dry it for a few minutes or so depending on the thickness of your hair. Dont completely dry it, just get most of the moisture out.

Curly hair always looks cute messy, so just play around with it.! good luck

What are some tips for curly hair?

for an easy and quick hairstyle, put your hair into a low side ponytail =]

...it will look cute and its easy to do!

What are some tips for curly hair?

I also have really curly hair and it drives me crazy!! I had it permanent straightened a couple of times now, and it is a lot more manageable, but sometimes I miss my curls!! When it grows out, and becomes curls again, Paul Mitchell mouse is my best friend!! CANS OF IT!! Make sure to put in on damp, scrunch mouse with hands and either air dry, or use a blow dryer on low, pull in a loose clip or leave it down, whatever look your going for.

I want colored tips on my hair but my mom wont let me.if im allowed, what color do i get so it doesnt

gosh what do i do so my mom will let me! if any1 answering this out there has tips or colored streaks, hwo much are they?

I want colored tips on my hair but my mom wont let me.if im allowed, what color do i get so it doesnt look punk

For your price question, tips are usually inexpensive (like around $15-$20.) Highlights/streaks, depending on type, are around $20-$50.

Punk colors are usually unnatural shades, so if you really don't want to look punk chose a pretty, complimentary natural shade. (Like if you have light brown hair, go black, copper, or gold; if you have blond, try warm red or cinnamon, etc.)

Why won't you mom let you tip your hair? If we know why, we might be able to help a bit more.

I want colored tips on my hair but my mom wont let me.if im allowed, what color do i get so it doesnt look punk

hmmm well that would be sweet, i got mine done and its pretty good, um with blonde hair like mine i did a darker brown underneath... it all depnds on waht your top color is....

Is there any tips for scrunching hair?

i have medium-long black hair and its naturaly straight.

i'm having trouble scrunching it.

it will never stay in.

have any suggestions?

Is there any tips for scrunching hair?

I would use a big amount of gel and a little hairspray. Hope this helps.

Is there any tips for scrunching hair?

try some leave in conditioner when wet. also get a volumizing mousse (tressame makes one), put a marshmallow amount in palm and flip head over. start scrunching sections of your hair from the ends all the way up to the nape of your neck. work all around your hair with a gentle slow motion. This will ensure that any waves or culrs that form will not be ruffled out of proportion. flip hair over and let hair dry.

Is there any tips for scrunching hair?

Get Aussie Sprunch spray and Aussie Gel wet your whole head use a towel to mess your hair up and get excess water out use a little bit of gel and flip your head over and start sprunching your hair and while its still wet spray in some hair spray then use a blow dryer and sprunch and dry use lots of hair spray

Is there any tips for scrunching hair?

1. wash hair

2. put gel in it

3. put lots of hair spray

4. and chrunch hard and until how you want it

another way to make your hair curly is after you take a shower put it in a really messy bun but put gel and hair spray in it keep the bun in until dry or as i did over night.

Is there any tips for scrunching hair?

You may need a stronger mousse to hold the "scrunches".

Also, a texturizing product may help you out. A good one to try is got2b: shagged out. It's a texturizing liquid fiber that has a good holding quality to it. It's available at drug stores.

Is there any tips for scrunching hair?

I feel that it helps if I use a lot of gel and scrunch my hair when it's still pretty wet--almost soaking but a little bit towel dried. The longer I wait to put the gel in the and scrunch, the worse the outcome!

Is there any tips for scrunching hair?

after u wash your keep it a bet damp and use the tips of your fingers ....then for whatever product u are using put a lil on the tips of your fingers and gently scrunch thro.....dont use alot of product is the key...

Is there any tips for scrunching hair?

use a diffuser!!! It's that big funny lookin thing that goes on the end of your blow dryer that you've probably throw out cuz it had no use. Well its for creating defined natural looking curls. When your hair is wet, add de-frizzer/shiner, then maybe a bit of mouse or gel. then you just use that thing buy holding it in one spot til it dries

Is there any tips for scrunching hair?

Try spraying your wet hair with Abba's Instant Recall, available from most beauty supply or salons, then flip your head over and dry with a diffuser on your blow dryer. Gently push up from the bottom of your hair and hold for a few seconds. You may also use a bit of gel, I like Laminates concentrated gel, and a bit of Biosilk on the ends. When hair is dry, do not play with it or brush. Good Luck!

Only dying the tips of my hair-which color?

my hair is red w/ natural blonde highlights. i thought about -blonde or black, but im not sure. help!!!

Only dying the tips of my hair-which color?

No, I don't think that would be a wise move only because most natural red-heads have very fair skin with pink/peachy undertones..So black would not exactly be a great color because it would wash you out and usually oilve/yellow skin tones look better with darker hair colors.. And blonde may look to brassy on your skin tone..Sorry to say but most red-heads look good only as red-heads..Maybe you should try another shade of red or possibly add different color high-lights.

Hope I helped.

Only dying the tips of my hair-which color?

Do you have any tips on basic hair curling?

I'm having a hard time on achieving the hair waves I really want- not too tight yet not that loose. Can you please help me??? I'm into temporary hair curling methods, though.

Do you have any tips on basic hair curling?

The trick is to choose the RIGHT size (radius, not length) of hair curlers. The SMALLER the radius, the TIGHTER the curl.

If you use large curlers, the curl will be gentle, if you use pencil-thin curlers, the curls will be very tight.

The reason for hair curling is the cross-section of the hair. Perfectly straight hair is ROUND, while very curly hair is like a flattened oval.

Do you have any tips on basic hair curling?

Get a perm and then work with that if your hair is straight. Less work curling it everyday with an iron.

Do you have any tips on basic hair curling?

How about a curling iron...

Do you have any tips on basic hair curling?

Did you think of a perm? my Brother perms his hair he looks like a movie star with his waves. AND he goes to the LOCAl beauty college it cost him a lot less too.

Do you have any tips on basic hair curling?

it 's called shaved head

Do you have any tips on basic hair curling?

Try scrunchin it and using Aveda curl products.

Do you have any tips on basic hair curling?

Did you try "curling shampoo" and "curling conditioner?" Also, when you dry your hair use a diffuser attachment for the hair dryer so the blowing action doesn't blow your hair straight.

If your hair is naturally wavy these products might help.

Good luck.

Do you have any tips on basic hair curling?

Why don't you just curl you hair with the straightners - Yes it sounds stupid but you can.. The hairdressers do it now a days.. just put your hair in the straightners as if you straighten your hair turn your straightners around till the bottom of your hair is at the top of the straightner and drag down like you would straighten your hair.. It works and it give nice soft hollywood curls. XxX

Do you have any tips on basic hair curling?

There are semi permanent perms out in the market now if you have straight hair and want to try the look for a month or so. Ask you stylist for this new way of perms. It will wash off in about 30 washes and your hair will be straight again in case you did not like it , with minimal damage on the hair shaft. Now if you have natural wavy try defining lotions or mousse scrunch it up . I love Paul Mitchell Sculpting Glaze that has medium hold (no crispy feelling) and awsome shine. Another line you can try is Curls Rock on TIGI Bed HEAD or Matrix Curl Life. Please let me know how these suggestions work for you or if you have any other products related questions to Chiquialex2000@yahoo.com ,

Do you have any tips on basic hair curling?

put some hairspray all over your hair before you curl it so it can stiffen your hair and you'll get whatever kind of curls you want

Do you have any tips on basic hair curling?

I used to use those flexible sticks, I wash my hair and before it dries I roll them on my hair and leave them till my hair dries, they look cool and natural, very nice besides they won't damage ur hair.

Does anyone know any tips for curly hair?

Mousse will sometimes tame curly hair.

Have you tried a flat iron? I wasn't sure if you want straight hair though...

Good Luck

Does anyone know any tips for curly hair?

I'd give you a list of things to try, but the list is way long. My two biggest tips would be to try conditioner-only hair washing, or using a cream-type leave-in conditioner.

Visit www.naturallycurly.com for help.

Does anyone know any tips for curly hair?

i have super frizzy hair except its wavey instead of curley. when i want to wear it curly then i tae a biG glob of curling mousse or cream (garneir fructise is my fAVE)then i scrunch it in my hair and let it air dry. if i want to wear it straight then i let air dry then straighten it. i use to blow dry it before straightening it but i found that this damaged my hair to much leading to even more frizziness

Does anyone know any tips for curly hair?

i have wavy frizzy hair and i straighten it sometimes. to wear it curly, i use a lot of fructis products such as "surf hair" for more natural curls, or mousse- with that i either blow dry upside down while scrunching to make it super curly or put the mousse in while it's really wet and just let it air dry for less crispy hair :)

Does anyone know any tips for curly hair?

i just went to the hairdressers about 3 days ago with this same problem except my hairs a smidge longer.

anyways the hair dresser ended up "texturizing" just my ends so it helps the curl ..

she also said put a little bit of some straightening product on the top/hairline to flatten it down %26amp; control frizz

hairdryer=your worst enemy, but not surprised if you've already found this one out yourself.

some mouse.. or if you can find something along the lines of a "bouncy" product that's a safe bet.. little hairspray.. not on top tho, just the bottom half.. then just scrunch the rest in place with a towel

---

also sunsilk shampoo/conditioner anti frizz really does help

%26amp; i just got a sample of biosilk therapy thing %26amp; its AMAZING

good luck. it's a pretty frustrating process

Does anyone know any tips for curly hair?

OMG i have curly hair too and i hate it.

First of all you should buy Anti Frizz shamopp and wash it properly - Shampoo rinse and REPEAT cause if you dont repeat your only getting rid of the oil and dirt but not actually washing it.

Then you put in some taming cream or gel or what ever and you can put it into a loose bun and then either curl or just leave your natural curls hang out if theres any left overs at the sides :D hope that helped

Does anyone know any tips for curly hair?

Scrunch, scrunch, scrunch. =] And if all else fails... straighten.

Does anyone know any tips for curly hair?

DO NOT USE STRAIGHTENERS OR CURLERS!

People will tell to use them, but all it will do is ruin your hair and nobody including you will think it looks pretty. Yeah, maybe the first time but once it gets fried, it is poofy and gross.

I had the same exact problem and I HATED my hair. I never wore it down and I always straightened.

Secret to my Success? No shampoo. It sounds so weird and gross but IT WORKS! Just a conditioner made for curly hair.

After I use a little leave in conditioner for extra shine and softness.

Then I use Garnier Spray Gel for curly hair. It feels crunchy when you first put it in, but after it loosens up.

My hair is still damaged from the heat I used on it, but I am on my way to recovery.

You will get a lot of compliments when you finally learn to like your hair. I still do not like my hair, but all of my friends do.

(also you do not need to wash your hair everyday, it just makes it dryer. the look the next day is still nice)

Does anyone know any tips for curly hair?

for the friz try frizz ez (by jon frieda) i have heard it works well. try using a small amount of hair spray to control frizz and style it the way you like. (ps thanks for voting my last answer best answer!!!!!!!!!!)

it dosent matter to have pale skin,it even suits to you.i think you gotta get some dark brown hair with blond highlight and dont give any weird style to your hair.always use sun lotion for skin so it doesnt burn.

a pic??????????

Tomboy that has had same style whole life... Need makeup and hair tips.. see my pic and give helpfull advice..

The picture really looks fine to me. Doesn't really look like a tomboy at all.

Tomboy that has had same style whole life... Need makeup and hair tips.. see my pic and give helpfull advice..

What pic?

I'll go by what you described. If you have fair skin try colors in the pink or peach family. Depending on how old you are some pink blusher and some tinted lip gloss always looks nice and isn't overdoing it. For eye shadow try something with a little color but not too much, frosty pastels would look nice. Black mascara would probably look harsh on you so try a dark brown. A good idea is to buy a bunch of cheap eye shadows and try them out and see which ones you like best. Then buy those colors from more expensive brands that last longer. As far as hair. Take the shape of your face into account. One hairstyle that looks good on just about everyone is a shoulder length bob, maybe with some long side swept bangs. It's also pretty hassle free and you could still tie your hair back if you liked.

Tomboy that has had same style whole life... Need makeup and hair tips.. see my pic and give helpfull advice..

Well the first thing that caught my eyes were yours so i'd play them up with some lengthening mascara on the top and bottom lashes. Also a nice light bronze eyeshadow darkened slightly at the outer corners of your lids would give it some color and still look natural. A light pink rosy cheek and come clear gloss should top it off fantastically.

I like long straight hair but I would give it some natural waves by putting it up in a simple bun before you go to bed. When you wake up the next morning take it out and run your fingers through it til you get a desired style.(But don't touch it too much because the more you do the less it will wave) Then use some flexible hairspray on it and your done.

Hope I helped.

Tomboy that has had same style whole life... Need makeup and hair tips.. see my pic and give helpfull advice..

Get dark and light highlights....Then straighten your hair and leave it down....Go tanning use banana boat tanning lotion and bake outside all day long...Now use black eyeliner, mascara, blush, and lip gloss, also use a little foundation....Also try to dress more feminine and cool.

Is your hair shorter now? I used to have super straight hair when I was younger also, but now it has deeper curls now that I keep my hair at shoulder length. Back then it was well past my shoulders.

Also, I've learned some great tips from this site:

Do you have any tips for Curly hair?

my sister has curly hair and she uses herbal essences none of your friziness leave in conditioner , any type of moose and rave hairspray by suave(its amazing how long it holds) plus it looks great.

Do you have any tips for Curly hair?

you have to keep blow drying your hair

it will always be curly

Do you have any tips for Curly hair?

you should try the Japanese Hair Straightening. It will make your hair sooo straight. I'm thinking about doing it because my hair gets really puffy in the morning and it is reallyyy annoying becasue I can never wear it down. Although it is pretty expensive. It is usually $400 and up but it will make your hair straight and very shiny and healthy. Check it out on the web

Do you have any tips for Curly hair?

we have the same situation even if i go to the salon nothing just take care of it right now i have straight hair without going to the salon

Do you have any tips for Curly hair?

I have the same problem. If you're in your teens, it's probably puberty, and might go away as you get older.

In the meantime, wash your hair once every two days. Shampoo dries out your hair. Also use a leave in conditioner every morning.

Second, use a good hair gel like John Frieda Frizz-Ease Corrective Styling Gel after you wash your hair. Rub it through your hair and scrunch it a bit.

Third, don't brush your hair. It creates static at the roots and causes alot of frizz.

Once a week you should use a strengthening treatment in place of conditioner, like Neutrogena Triple Moisture Deep Recovery hair mask.

Welcome to beautiful curls!

Do you have any tips for Curly hair?

I have a book called Curly Girl by Lorraine Massey %26amp; Deborah Chiel and it is really good. It tells you how to properly take care of curly hair. I just got it for Christmas so I have not tried anything from it yet. For a long time I have been using Kerastase Oleo Relax and Kerastase Elasto Curl. Both work really good. Oleo Relax relaxes my curls. Elasto Curl makes my curls bouncy and fuller. I am going to follow the Curl Girl book though!

Does anyone know any hairstyling tips for curly hair?

ok i have shoulder length curly hair. I mean CURLY they're bouncy and everything. I'm really sick of doing the same hair styles. I was wondering if anyone had any styles that i could use or if anyone knows of a website where they teach/show me how to form a certain hairstyle. i would really appreciate it if anyone has anything. Like an everyday hair style type of thing. Well thanks

Does anyone know any hairstyling tips for curly hair?

I have the exact same type of hair. What I do is every time that I start getting tired of my style, I go to get my hair cut. I have the lady that cuts my hair cut it in a way that lets me style it differently by just brushing it out when it's wet. Besides that, I really can't think of much else that you can do...You could try just putting your hair up, or you can try parting it in a different way. Like if you part it in the center, try parting it to the side.

Does anyone know any hairstyling tips for curly hair?

Isn't emo more about the attitude than the look? The length you have in your default pic looks pretty good for emo-ness. As to makeup I know eyeliner is a must, and black nail polish. Good luck with the look :)
