Tips for making hair stay parted on the side?

I am wanting to get side swept bangs before school starts, but before I can do that, I need to get my hair to stay parted on the side. Right now I have a part straight down the middle of my head (which is very unflattering on my face). How can I make it stay to the side?

Part it while it's wet then after it is dry tease or backcomb your bangs a little on the underneath side then spray w/ hairspray then smooth slightly and you're good to go

Part your hair as you want it and blow dry it that way. Eventually your hair will be trained to stay there, but it takes a while.

you get a comb and put it to the side and get it cut. If it keeps going back, then brush it over and over again. take a shower or just get it wet when its to the side too.

Part your hair when wet, and blow dry it. Also, if need be, Herbal Eseences makes this fabulous spray gel that when you blow dry your hair, you can't tell you've used it, but your hair stays in place, so maybe give that a try if you have very fine hair.

Good luck!

If you part your hair, and then using some sort of sticky hair product and put a little right at the root of your hair where you parted it, it stays perfectly.

If you dont like using hair products, the whole blow dryer thing works.

I use this wax stick, and it works really well. Im sure you can find it anywhere where they sell Hair Products. And the stuff last FOREVER.
