I want to dye my blonde hair black?

I used to have dark brown hair but i want it to be black now, i heard that 'black 10 by revlon' is a really good dye to use (wont fade out or nothing) and i want to do this at home since I wont have enough money to do it at a salon, i kinda spent it all already lol. Any tips? What kind of hair dye should I use that wont really damage my hair or anything? My friend dyed her hair black a while ago but she doesnt live here anymore for her parents to help me with it. What hair dyes do you reccomend? I dont want my hair to fade out or anything cuz when my hair was dark brown the ends of my hair was fading out back to blonde. Any suggestions?

well i just dyed my hair balck 10 by revlon monday. it works really well and i brought pantene expressions to keep the color longer. i think you should go for it. revlon is a good hair dye and so is garnier fructis. good luck.

Well any hair will fade but try something close to blonde then work you way up otherwise it WILL damage your hair if you jsut go BLACK!

No matter what dye you use, your blonde roots will begin to show. Most at home dyes are only semi-permanent (about 6 weeks). Choosing such a drastic color change will probably begin fading veryyyy quickly. I would recommend going to Sallys or a beauty supply shop (look it up in the phone book) because they sell more permanent products, like the kinds professionals use. And the staff can help you chose a good color. Best answer??

You can not go black over blonde without filling the base color first...Go to a salon or yuo will look bad...I am a colorist and I know what i am telling you.

Its your hair, dye it what ever color you choose. My favorite is Garnier 100% color. It does not dry out your hair and the color is rich.

if your hair is naturally blond, most likely your skintone is not right for black hair and it will look like crap on you. Plus once you color it black it's SUPER damaging to get back to your natural color
