When your hair looks oily and you want to go somewhere take some baby powder and sprinkle it on the oily parts. Then brush it in good.

In Wal-Marts they have an isle, in the one in my town it is near the shaving creams and soaps, with small samples of deos, body sprays, travel toothpastes, soaps, ect. They have a small bottle of baby powder that is the perfect size for a purse or school bag so you can do tuch ups if need be.

There are tons of different shampoo's and conditioners out there to help oily(greasy) hair. Try a shampoo that adds shine, and try not to touch your hair so much. Your fingers have more oil than your hair, so when you touch your hair, your fingers just add onto the oil. And make sure to wash your hair everyday.

Wash it once a day - or more if you're active. As long as you treat your hair gently when it's wet, frequent washing shouldn't harm it.

Don't scrub too hard while washing. It won't get your hair any cleaner or less oilier. What it will do is further aggravate the already overactive sebaceous glands on your scalp, not to mention cause damage to the delicate follicles. And don't pile hair on the head while shampooing, even though it may look great in the ads. It causes tangling, leading to further breakage. You could add lemon to the final rinse for a great shine. If you're washing your hair every day or more, it may be better to choose a mild shampoo instead of a shampoo designed for oily hair, and use a conditioner, choose one that's made for oily hair.
