I dont have curlers or a curling iron and i have about 5 1/2 hours to get ready..Hurry with some tips!! Also-my hair is washed from a little while ago...how can I curl my hair or make it super wavy by 6pm?

Braid it, or roll it into little buns that you clip with bobby pins. When you take the buns out, you'll have waves. Try one first (spray lightly with water first) to see if you like the type of waves it provides.

it's going to be difficult to do that without curlers or a curling iron... try french braiding your hair now and take it out before the dance, that will make it wavy.

ok, i have strait hair too, and this is what i do. put a curling hair product in. (you can pick this up real quick at the drug store) then braid your hair. its better to do all this if your hair is damp. then leave in for about 3 hours. take it out and you hair will be wavy. or, you should go to the salon BUT HURRY!!!!!!!

Hairspray

First, dampen the hair, apply mousse evenly throughout.. flip your head over and scrunch it up while blowdrying it for 5 minutes.. Next Use a non-aerosol hairspray and spray a little bit all over.. run finger through a few times to detangle.. that should work just fine. Also, you might want to try a cute sparkle headband, or a flower in your ear. Have a great time! =)

My older daughter has straight hair. Start with wet hair. Little tiny braids will work, but take way too much time to dry. Take small pieces of hair and twist it. Then roll up and bobby pin or use tiny rubber bands to hold it together. If you want larger curls then separate your hair into about thirty sections and twist away from your face. have someone hold the twists as you are making them . then rubber band them all together at the bottom and spray them like hell with hairspray. I like to use Rave or Aquanet. Then on if you have a hair dryer put the heat part on high and the blower on low and lightly dry just the outside part., This will set the spray into place. Then leave the rest dry. It will take between 1-3 hours depending on your hair thickness and length.

it needs to be alittle more wet....put moose or gel in your hair, EVERYWHERE, twist some sections in ur hair and put them up in clips........spray everywhere..BLOW DRY.....keep it like that till 5... then take out clips and wallah! like magic!!

Wet your hair lightly and put on gel (Garnier Fructis Wet Shine, preferable). Twirl strands of hair in your fingers to make curls, and leave to dry naturally. (u can also use hair-drier to be quick)

well it depends on your hair type.if you have that flat super straight hair you better ask a friend for a curling iron or go to a salon.if you have thick kinda wavy hair like i do i just wash your hair dont use conditoner it makes it to soft. then let it dry a little and add gel put your head upside down and scrunch it in your hands put alot of hairspray and scrunch!flip your hair and fix it the way you like then tease with a comb and add more hairspray let dry voila`your hairs wavy good luck have fun!

Well you said your hair is a little damp? go find some cheap little cloth or fabric you have around your house and rip it up into strips. Lots of strips. then take even chunks/strips of hair and wrap it around the fabric strips and tie the fabric in a knot so the hair will stay around it. it works really good. if you want it even a little more curly... do that and go take a nap or summthin so the curls get squished to your head. take them out about maybe and hour before you go and tease with like shine spray or something. if you are running out of time go get your hair done at a beauty school because they do really cheap up-do's, curls, whatever you want.

I have really straight hair too. I am sorry for us. lol but to answer question: I will take small sections of hair, twist it and then finger roll to my head secure with hair pins, paper clips , binder clips, what ever handy. This will give you more of a wavy look and will add more volume to hair. Dont forget to use some product, gel , hair spray whatever is handy. Leave it alone for at least 30 mins. Unclip all sections of hair, bend over and lightly brush hair then flip hair back and finger style. I hope this helps you. This is a method I still use at times.

When I was little, I used to use bobby pins for "pin curls." Take small sections of hair, and twist them into little tiny buns. Do this to your whole head. For best results, your hair should be a little damp as you do this. Another idea is to take little pieces of cloth (rip up an old t-shirt or something) and wrap your hair around each piece of cloth and gently tie. Do this to your whole head. People used to tell me to hold my head upside down and blow dry and scrunch, but all that does to really straight hair is make it big and tangled. Try one of the other 2 options I just suggested. you can use mousse extra hold the one that works for me is vo5. it is better to use it on damp hair , apply some on the palm of your hands and spread it on your hair from roots to tip then blow dry your hair using a diffuser, and scrunching your hair at the same time. make sure you place your hair upside down...hope it works ..have fun

Use your curling iron and alot of hair spray or gel... Use tiny tiny pieces and curl them for about 2 min. each....don't spray hair spray after you curled it 'cuz it will weigh it down and go flat. Only spray hair spray after you've completely finished.
