Need tips on how to make hair shine.?

checkout ricky's store in nyc online. i used the clairol radiance color gloss. ignore the "color" in the name because you can actually get it in "clear color gloss. You will need equal parts color gloss and color infuser. Overall very cheap 6-8 dollars. You can also pick a color suitable for your hair color, and it should wash out eventually elimating worries about roots later. The gloss coating will make your hair a little thicker and stay on for two weeks or more and seriously make your hair look like you came from the salon. just so you know my friend who is a hair stylist told me about it.

The easy way to go is to add grapefruit juice to your shampoo. When you put your shampoo on, don't rinse until the END of your shower. The grapefruit juice reduces that alkalinity left by color residue and smoothes the hair shaft, giving your hair optimum shine!!

I use Simply Stylin'. It does a really good job adding shine because it's made from pure silicone which is the ingredient in most shine sprays that makes the hair shiny. It comes in a spray and a serum version. They give out free samples on their website simplystylinhair.com. And I think they might be in Sally's, so you can look there.
