The tips of my hair get dry easily. What should I do?

I have naturally wavy (and very puffy) hair. It looks really bad if I don't do anything to it! So almost everyday, I straighten or curl my hair to make it look better. I got horrible split and dry ends so I just got a haircut yesterday. Now I am trying to still keep my ends nice. Does anyone have any tips or products that I can put in my hair? Use products that don't have alcohol in them. It also sounds like you need a heat treatment and a better conditioner. Heat is terrible for your hair. Try to wear it curly if/when you can to keep from the heat torture everyday! I have the same problem with my afrom :) I use aussie's conditioner + mousse! It keeps my hair really soft!!! Their conditioner "hair insurance" is really good too!!!

Straightening/ curling your hair causes dry ends to happen very quickly try not doing it as often (you can always braid your hair, of put it up) If you do use heat on your hair, use a product to protect your hair. and to make you hair stonger use cholestorol in it-- Use some Mayo and leave it in your hair for a little bit, then wash it out really well- it also make your hair really shiney. you can also ask your hair dresser to give you a different cut, so you dont have to damage it as much with heat.

It sounds like the way you take care of your hair curling Iron, whatever to straighten your hair is drying your ends then they split there are products to protect your hair just check with a stylist you know about the best products...also if you abuse your hair, Gotta get regular trims...good luck
