Tips on growing hair super long?

Is there any way to make hair grow faster? And what's up with Biotin, I've been hearing it does great thing for hair.Does it really matter which shampoo brand you use?

Add anything helpful.

Tips on growing hair super long?

Do cut your hair, but only trim enough to get the split ends of every couple of months. People think that not cutting your hair will make it grow faster, but it will not. I tried not cutting it for 9 months and it only grew like 1 centimeter. You will get split ends and your hair will stop growing if you don't cut it. This will also help you have healthier hair. Also using a comb to go through your hair instead of a brush will make it thicker and pull out less hair. Biotin is said to tame unmanageable hair. I don't think that the shampoo brand really matters, but if you want it to grow faster then you probably want to use a shampoo that prevents split ends by healing damaged hair.

Tips on growing hair super long?

Okay, I've known this to be true... Dont CUT ur hair, and it will be long. OOooo, woa!

Tips on growing hair super long?

Take care of your hair- don't use a lot of chemicals and get your ends trimmed every few weeks.

Tips on growing hair super long?

trim the ends regularly

Tips on growing hair super long?

Cut your hair very little, like one fourth a inch every few weeks it will grow way faster. Or so people tell me.

Tips on growing hair super long?

Helps to take vitamin E. Jennifer Aniston also took prenatal vitamins; she said that helped a bunch. Mostly all you can do is not cut it. I know that sounds like, duh, but really, if you fixate on your hair, you're more prone to want to do stuff with it (trim it, change it), and it keeps your hair from getting the most length it can get.

Tips on growing hair super long?

Vitamin E is really good for hair growth. Yes it may take a while but your hair will be Strong and healthy. It's also a good idea to cut your hair every few months. This helps it grow and you can get rid of all the split ends.

Tips on growing hair super long?

There is hair and nail vitamins that will promote growth. No shampoo will help it's all about your genes how fast your hair will grow.

Tips on growing hair super long?

Apparently Ashleigh is very mature. Anyway, they say that you should at least get a trim... at least every couple of months. This way it cuts off the dead ends. I've noticed that just trimming my hair every couple of months, it has grown more than usual. If you notice your hair is breaking at all, definitely look into a strengthening shampoo as well...

Tips on growing hair super long?

use livon

Tips on growing hair super long?

It depends on what type of hair you have with course breaking hair you can use doo-grow or BB growth oil and products or olive oil products i used biotin conditioner and it completely change the course of my hair but it grew and now i have to use a straightener but its cool

Tips on growing hair super long?

The most important t hing about long hair is to trim it regulary--about half an inch every month or so. If you don't, the split ends will grow wild and it'll be a mess.

The speed of growth depends solely on genetics and nothing else..

Tips on growing hair super long?

yes there is u have to use the correct brand of shampoo

u just cant use any old thing

be my fan and ill tell what kind i use!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tips on growing hair super long?

Your hair will look healthier if you cut it HOWEVER your hair grows from your roots it does not matter if you cut it or not I have had hair long enough to sit on twice.

Tips on growing hair super long?

Massage your scalp regularly. This stimulates the blood flow and hence the hair grows faster. STAY AWAY from hair growth products. Also, jojoba oil is great for your hair.

Try it!

Tips on growing hair super long?

1.put coconut oil in ur hair

2. Drink water(LOTS)

3. Execerise %26amp; eat Healthy

4. Stand on your head for 10 mins (5min in the morning%26amp; 5 mins at night)

What would cause my cat to lose his hair from the tip of his tail 1/2 way up to the base & his n

Could be mange. Best take him to the vet before this becomes a REALLY expensive disease.

What would cause my cat to lose his hair from the tip of his tail 1/2 way up to the base %26amp; his nipple area?

It could be a number of things, my dog did something similar to this and I took her to the vet and was told she had allergies (to fleas, grass, dust). So I had to take her once every 3 months to get an allergy shot. You should take you cat to the vet to find out what the problem is.

What would cause my cat to lose his hair from the tip of his tail 1/2 way up to the base %26amp; his nipple area?

I friend's dog had a fungus that did that. The hair grew back on everything but most of his tail.

Then he got an ear infection that made one of his ears flop over. He won Most Mysterious Heritage award on the dog event on the mall in DC and 2 place for People's Choice.

He was short and fat and possibly the oddest looking animal on Earth, but when I took him for walks for them, he was a total chick magnet.

What would cause my cat to lose his hair from the tip of his tail 1/2 way up to the base %26amp; his nipple area?

in addition to above... food allergies

particularly if you are on one of the foods sold in grocery store or wal mart

these foods have so much filler in them and things cats shouldnt even eat (CORN for example).. BHT, BHA are harmful chemicals, by-products are beaks feet and feathers...

before I go further - what is your kitty eating?

What would cause my cat to lose his hair from the tip of his tail 1/2 way up to the base %26amp; his nipple area?

that has happend to my cat when he ran away for about 2 years if you e mail me i can give you the full story we think someone shaved him

What would cause my cat to lose his hair from the tip of his tail 1/2 way up to the base %26amp; his nipple area?

Ringworm? Take the cat to the vet, he or she'll figure out what it is.

What would cause my cat to lose his hair from the tip of his tail 1/2 way up to the base %26amp; his nipple area?

Ringworm! I've had kittens that had it and gave it to me when I was younger. Get the cat the vet for medicine before it spreads to you!

What would cause my cat to lose his hair from the tip of his tail 1/2 way up to the base %26amp; his nipple area?

It could be a number of things but I had a cat once that lost all it's hair due to stress.

What would cause my cat to lose his hair from the tip of his tail 1/2 way up to the base %26amp; his nipple area?

skin conditions usually cause cats to lose their fur.

Tips for protecting hair?

I have long (mid-back length) naturally curly hair that is somewhat fine and prone to breakage. It also tangles like you would not believe (everytime I go for a trim, the hairdresser is amazed-- they finish combing one side, do the other and by then the first side is tangled again!).

I am serving a year tour in Iraq so my hair is pretty much up in a bun all the time. I use those hair bands that are supposed to prevent your hair from breaking but I still feel like my hair is getting damaged! It has to be pulled back rather tightly or else little curls start to escape. What can I do?

(This happens at home too, it's just since I am here, I never get to take it down so I feel it never gets a break from being pulled back).

Tips for protecting hair?

Try using fatter hair ties. (not a scrunchy!) The skinny ones can cut through the hair if it is too tight. Also, don't put it up while its wet. Wet hair stretches more than dry. As it dries it shrinks back up and snaps if it is pulled back too tight. Same goes for twisting it up in a towel and leaving.

Tips for protecting hair?

do a britney (shave your head)

Tips for protecting hair?

I know this isn't what you want to hear but would it not be better to have it cut shorter while you are away,no maybe not then there isn't to much to say to helep you other then have it done into braids, will you be able to do that ?

I've decided to go natural. How do I do twists and any naturally curly hair style ideas?

I've decided to go natural. How do I do twists and any naturally curly hair style ideas?

to make it thicker use a denman brush and avoid brush and tight styles to not put so much stress on your hair.

http://forum.blackhairmedia.com/default....

this is a good site with good info and the growth section has good advice and help on it, the people on there has good advice.

http://www.nappturality.com/modules/myal...

this site has a section on going natural.

i use to straighten my hair a lot and doing that drys out your hair so doing a deep conditioning treatment at least every two weeks helps and curly Afro hair is naturally dry so you much make sure you regularly moisturise it.

also you can do conditioner wash, which is when you wash your hair with only conditioner and this helps because conditioners don't dry out your hair like non-moisturising shampoos with has in ingredients that clean but dry out your hair like,Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, ammonium lauryl ,ammonium laureth sulfate which are Detergents

which clean but dry out your hair.

also avoid; mineral oil and petroleum because they clog your scalp and if you put any thing on your scalp only use light oils like;tea tree oil, carrot oil, jojoba oil etc and hair butters like Shea butter and avocado butter

I've decided to go natural. How do I do twists and any naturally curly hair style ideas?

I have curly hair and one way you can twist it is by getting your hair wet then grabbing 2 strands of hair than twisting them together(do that till all your hair is in twists). then put it against your head and clip it. then about 30min to an 1hour later take out all the clips and you have twists

I've decided to go natural. How do I do twists and any naturally curly hair style ideas?

when your hair is wet you can put it in bendy rollers and keep them in over night. Then when you takee them out it leaves a nice natural curl and makes the hair feel and look thicker. To make it thicker you can get speacial hair shampoo and conditioner.

I've decided to go natural. How do I do twists and any naturally curly hair style ideas?

Good choice. You'll have to give it time to adjust though.

Devachan products are great for curls, but you don't have to go to the salon, you can buy the products online or at ricky's.

Go to naturallycurly.com to get more tips from people with the same type of curl you have.

Don't shampoo your hair everyday, but condition often and use an old t-shirt instead of a towel to dry, squeese out the excess water by hand then using the tshirt "scrunch" the water out. then just use a leave-in conditioner and either air dry or difuse (never ever blow dry).

I've decided to go natural. How do I do twists and any naturally curly hair style ideas?

if you want it curly then put your hair in little plats befor you go too bed (the bigger the plat the less wavey) and if you want it thiker and you have thin hair cut it short and layered at the back or ask your hair dresser for ideas

I've decided to go natural. How do I do twists and any naturally curly hair style ideas?

When your hair is wet, you can put some mousse in it and scrunch it, then blow dry it on low speed... This makes really nice natural looking ringlets and adds a little bit of volume... If I were you I'd also put some heat defence serum in (id recommend L'oreal studio heatseeker... Its really good!)

Since you are natural try essential oils to grow and thicken your hair. It is also on the same website...the ultimate hair thickener is Castor Oil (they have different varieties..I believe that the Jamaican black is best) - See camdengrey.com for some good prices on oils or go to your local CVS pharmacy..the oil section is always near the pharmacy in the back.

This is an excellent website to help you on your journey...

Any advice on how to do 80's hair styles and makeup?

I'm going for the 80's for Halloween. I'm young, so I don't really know what to do about my hair and makeup. Any tips or advice?

Any advice on how to do 80's hair styles and makeup?

80's hair definately has to be BIG, BIG, BIG. They did perms and then teased it. And heavy eye makeup.

Look up some 80's girl bands on the net like:

Sheena Easton

the Bangles

Cher in the 80's had the ultimate hair

Any advice on how to do 80's hair styles and makeup?

side ponytail for sure! just push all your hair to one side and lift it up high and tie it there. easy peasy!

Any advice on how to do 80's hair styles and makeup?

Buy Aqua Net...and use the heck out of it. (this is for your hair)

Any advice on how to do 80's hair styles and makeup?

tease your hair. make it cute: separate the top layer of hair from the rest. then lift up the 2ND layer and brush it down toward the root. then smooth it down slightly and put the top layer on top of it. wear glittery headband to pull it all back

Any advice on how to do 80's hair styles and makeup?

Use a Krimper and krimp your hair! Put it in a side ponytail and use 2 or 3 different colored scrunchies.

Rat the heck out of your hair.

Put it in a french braid.

Or Put it in a ponytail and leave some bangs out. Curl them and Rat them so they kindof go on each side.

Suggest some cool makeup tips and hair styles for this winter....?

The trends in makeup this winter are lots of color on the eye, or a smokey eye with a nude lip. Or a very light neutral eye with a red lip. Eyeliner is out this year, instead use a small angle eye brush, get it wet then dip the tip in your eyeshadow and lightly press it along your lash line, thinner on the inside of the eye, thicker on the outside.

Hair has gone slightly more voluminous, but not 80's big, not so stick straight as before, a little messy, a little wavy. Try wrapping your wet hair around 1 inch strips of an old t-shirt, tie them in a knot to hold them, then let them dry overnight. In the morning, take them out and you'll have casual messy waves, think Jennifer Anniston when she waves her hair, it looks good on all lengths.

Any tips on how i can get straight hair for 6 hours?

I've got extremely wavy hair. Everytime I straighten it, it ends up curling again. Could this be because I have dead ends or just the fact that my hair is wavy? I've been using the new Herbal Essences body envy shampoo and conditioner and I have a Revlon straightener/curling iron. Any tips on how I can keep it straight for the full 6 hours I'm in school?

Any tips on how i can get straight hair for 6 hours?

Okay so I had the same problem pre-new me. Anyways I used to like not care how I looked except for like when I went out. Well apparently when i did straighhtened my hair would curl later. Well I got my hair cut.. I went to my personal hair stylist.. (Everyone needs one.. who knows when you could be going through a dilemma like this? They are god sent) So anyways I went to her and I told her to do whatever she thought would look good. She cut off all my dead hair and gave me the cutest cut. I have thick side bangs and its kind of shaggy all over and its right below my shoulders. So my suggestion is go to a great stylist then buy a good straightener.

Oh and to the person who said to buy a ceramic plate iron.. DONT.. Get chrome its better!

First of all: hair is just the start of being emo. It takes personality too. It's a way of life. Second: emos DO NOT have "Blingees" Ever heard of myspace? Get one. Skinny jeans, black hair, piercings, hair in the face, and black eyeliner is the way to go, my friend. You have a LOT of work to do before you can be considered emo.

Tips on doing some black streaks in my hair?

Give me some tips on how to foil my own hair. I only want a little bit of black on the top and sides. I have a comb with a fine point handle, foil, black dye, and gloves.

I dye my hair a lot and don't go to a professional, so please don't recommend the salon. I like doing it myself, it's a bit of a hobby. Thanks!!

Tips on doing some black streaks in my hair?

All you do is seperate how much you want you chunk to be, put the dye and wrap the foil around it. Leave in for the time alloted and then check it. Wash and style as usual.

Tips on doing some black streaks in my hair?

if you have pale skin dont put in too many black highlights it will really wash out your face and make you look even paler

Tips on doing some black streaks in my hair?

I just wanna state that Black can not be covered by any other colour so if you absolutly hate it or you change yoru miund in teh future you will have to either bleach it out or grow it out .. black is a sticky colour . but im sure it will look great ... another suggestion if i may is getting a dark brown ???? it will be easier to lift late on and it will fade unlike a black . I dunno :) good luck

Tips to thicken hair?

Okay so my hair texture is rather fine but I used to have a lot of it. Due to a terrible experience with extensions it is slowly recovering from where it broke off underneath. I am waiting for the shorter parts to pass my shoulders and then I will cut my hair and hopefully regain some thickness once it evens out. So, in the meantime I opt for clip-in extensions (matching the length of my hair) on occasion and have used a variety of products. Currently I use Thicker, Fuller Hair revitalizing shampoo and conditionr and bed head blow dry lotion or a thicker fuller hair product and I have just purchased Rusk volumizing lotion which I have yet to try. I take women's ultra mega dietary supplement as well as futurebiotics hair, skin and nails but I am going to try out ultra nourishair instead of the dietary supplement as it seems to give me some white hair which is weird. Anyway, does anyone have any recommendations to thicken hair? I am looking for something with somewhat of a noticable diff

Tips to thicken hair?

I know you are using thickening shampoo but if it doesn't work out I would recommend mane and tail shampoo...I know weird horse shampoo but all my sisters and I use and it gives a noticably thicker effect. Don't be worried there are human directions and it is 100% safe. Though I would keep your same conditioner.

Tips to thicken hair?

You can't thicken your hair, you can only make it thinner by thinning it using special scissors. The only way I can think of is to get extensions.

Tips to thicken hair?

Good healthy hair starts with good internal health. Have you ever noticed people that look really healthy have nice shiny full heads of hair? If I would you I would go into your local guru in wholistic medicine and see what natural supplement the can offer for robust hair growth. I閳ユ獫e had success with a product called Provillus also

Tips to thicken hair?

In my experience with hair care I find that less is more, if that makes any sense. The volumizing products on the market today are great if used in moderation. But I find people still feel as if they use more of an product it will double their chances of great result. Not the case at all. A little goes a long way along with a layer hair cut and a little (t)ender, (l)oving, (care)! Sometimes you have to change stylist as well. Look for someone whos main focus is on hair care and not just styling and taking your hard earned $$$... Silicone products are great for the moisturizing factor. Beware of the oil!!!

What are some tips for hair fall control?

well there's alot of reasons why your hair may be falling out but if there's been no recent major changes in your life or health (or if you had a baby recently!) then i'd try vitamins sometimes your body just needs a little help. A daily multiple would be a good start!

What are some tips for hair fall control?

Try and eat alot of almonds and massage your scalp with oil as well

What are some tips for hair fall control?

Wide-toothed comb

Get yourself a wide-toothed comb. This is probably one of the most important yet underutilized of all hair tools. A wide-toothed comb helps you distribute conditioner evenly all over your hair while shampooing and conditioning. In addition, it also helps get rid of knots smoothly.

The best time to get rid of knots is during conditioning. Apply conditioner and run a wide toothed comb gently through your hair.

While untangling dry hair, do so in sections. Take one section at a time, and first, untangle the ends of your hair. Do so slowly, and don?t pull unless you want your hair to fall out in clumps or break.

Don?t wait for the last minute before detangling your hair. Every night, while sitting in front of the television, run a wide toothed comb gently through your hair, until you have untangled it completely. Do this every night, and you will notice that your hair remains free from tangles.

Leave-in conditioner

Dry hair tends to tangle easily, and, needless to say, causes it to break. Make sure your hair is never devoid of moisture by always keeping a bottle of leave-in conditioner handy. The next time you feel your hair is dry and rough to the touch, simply rub a dollop of leave-in conditioner between your palms, and apply it to your hair. Comb through with your wide toothed comb. Your hair will be instantly rejuvenated and moisturized. Gradually, the texture will also improve. This is a must if you blow dry your hair regularly, or if it is chemically treated. Such hair constantly craves moisture, so get yourself a bottle of leave-in conditioner.

Oil

Olive, almond and coconut oils are all excellent for the hair. While you could apply oil as an alternative to leave-in conditioner, oil tends to make your hair sticky, and you cannot style your hair well after applying oil. Your only alternative would then be to tie up your hair. For better results with oil, apply just a few drops immediately after washing your hair, when your hair is still dripping wet. Oil doesn?t penetrate the strands as easily as leave-in conditioner does though. Nothing beats a hot oil massage followed by a steam treatment, as the steam helps the oil penetrate the hair strands, strengthening them and curtailing hair fall.

Egg

Egg is great for the hair ? there are no two ways about it! True, it causes a tremendous stink in the bathroom, and your hair may let off an ?eggy? smell, but the results are instantaneous and worth it! Egg strengthens your hair almost immediately, and the egg yolk leaves your hair shining. Whip an egg with two tablespoons of olive oil and apply it to your hair. Wash off after half an hour. Make sure you wash off with cold water though, or the egg will start cooking in your hair, and would be harder to take off! Use a scented shampoo to counter the smell of egg in your hair, and follow up with a leave-in conditioner. Do this for a month, and you will be amazed by the change in your hair texture and the reduction in hair fall.

What are some tips for hair fall control?

Tips vary from types of Hair u posses

(1) GREASY HAIR

Try to avoid daily washing. The sebaceous glands are overstimulated, secreting more grease onto the hair. This creates a vicious circle where the more you wash is the greasier it becomes. Another problem with regular washing is that although the roots are greasy the rest of your hair is stripped of oil and the ends become dry and brittle. Use a mild ph-balanced shampoo and wash hair without rubbing the scalp too much. Only apply conditioner to the mid and ends rather than at the roots. Watch your diet. Oily and fatty foods can contribute to greasy skin and scalp. Best of all is to use those days when you're at home to give your hair a rest from daily washing. Try using a children's shampoo as these are often mild enough for greasy hair.

(2) DRY HAIR

Dry, coarse and brittle hair needs to be nourished from within; a conditioner that just rinses out won't do the job. Use an intensive moisturising shampoo which will cleanse without excessive rubbing (which will damage the hair more) and follow with a hot oil conditioner. Heat opens up the hair cuticles allowing the moisturiser to penetrate the hair shaft giving it suppleness, bounce and movement. Mousse on dry hair will make it look dull, use a blow drying or thickening lotion instead.

(3) FRIZZY HAIR

Keep your hair well conditioned with a rich moisturising product. The hairstyle is also important. If your hair is very frizzy you don't want too many layers. Have a few longish ones that will allow your hair to flow. Always use a diffuser when blowdrying which will help control the frizz but will not remove all the body.

(4) GREY HAIR

If you only have a little grey a semi-permanent colour wash (stays for six to eight washes) will cover it. For more than 30 per cent grey then a quasi colour covers grey whilst keeping a natural look. When you go grey in patches, a permanent tint or a foil and tone technique - where highlights are woven around the top and crown and a semi-permanent colour is put through the rest of the hair - is the only way to cover up. This creates warmth and depth throughout the hair.

Why does my stepsister have hair on the tip of her nose ?

shes only 19 .do u guys know any girls that have this trait ?

Why does my stepsister have hair on the tip of her nose ?

hmmmm the wicked stepsister huh???

Tonite when she's asleep.. take a scissors or razor and cut it off.

Or put Nair on it.

Why does my stepsister have hair on the tip of her nose ?

I see this on people...don't worry, she'll live

Why does my stepsister have hair on the tip of her nose ?

Yes, this happens to some women. Just have her shave 'em off every couple weeks. I'm perfectly serious. Or she can go to the trouble of getting that cream to remove upper lip hair. Shaving is so much quicker, easier, and less expensive. I learned all of this from actress Vivika A. Fox. She hates hair. She shaves her knuckles, her toes, her upper lip, underarms, legs, etc.......

Tips on how to get silky smooth hair?

Unlike other Asian girls blessed with great hair, mine is dry, frizzy and dull. (I have thick hair by the way) I tried a lot of products and none of them seem to work. Any tips/suggestions, please?

Tips on how to get silky smooth hair?

As far as products go, Sabino Moisture block is EXCELLENT!!! (Look at any customer review, they'll tell you the same.) This stuff is a serum you work into your hair after you shampoo, and you can use it to keep curls from frizzing, straighten with a blow drier or flat iron, etc....

....But here's the thing that separates this from all the other products! It is NOT WATER SOLUBLE!!! You could go out in fog, rain showers, 100% humidity, even swimming (bonus-protects against chlorine damage) and your hair will NOT FRIZZ. I swear to god. My city is like an oven in summer from the humidity, and i've gotten caught in a few storms, and my hair never poofs at all. Ever! And this is the only thing I put into my super, super curly and frizz prone hair!

Also, it has no alchohol. And your hair always looks smooth, supple and shiny because it locks moisture into your hair. With that extra moisture, you can use a nice ceramic flat iron ( I use the FHI Platform--it's cheaper than the CHI and works much, much better ) and touch up your hair EVERY DAY with VIRTUALLY NO DAMAGE! (and if anyone's hair would be damaged by that, it's mine...i've bleached it to within an inch of it's life)

I've spent a fortune on other products to help with my frizzy hair, to straighten it, and this does cost about $20 but a little goes a looong way. I use it three times a week on my shoulder length hair and the bottle lasts me 3-4 months.

Bottom line, try it. You definately won't be dissapopinted.

Tips on how to get silky smooth hair?

Ceramic hair straightners work like a charm on everybody.. plus some product like the serum from john freida. yes, it WILL fry up your hair on the long run but that's the price u gotta pay

Tips on how to get silky smooth hair?

I said this on another question...

Try dove shampoo and conditioner, it works wonders.

Tips on how to get silky smooth hair?

I believe that curly hair just wants to fall in the direction it is growing, so I add conditioning products and wear my hair curly- it looks natural and healthy.

However, big hot rollers help and the results are great leaving your hair wavy and soft with no frizz.

Plus, hot rollers aren't as damaging as the hair dryer or harsh straightening solutions. (use a small amount ot setting solution, too much will weigh it down and feel sticky)

Tips on how to get silky smooth hair?

Do this once a week:

mix 1 cup coconut oit, half cup castor oil, and then take one full table spoon of melted butter(without salt) and mix it well. then massage with this oil mixture into your hair and leave it for over night . then wash your hair with any good brand of shampoo like Dove , Finesse etc. dont forget to use a good conditioner ,after shampoo.

Also protect your hair from sunlight and dust. keep them cover with scarf.

DO THIS ONCE A MONTH:

take a cup mayonnaise and apply it all over your hair and leave them for one hour. take a towel and dip it into hot water. squeeze it and cover your hair with it.leave it for half and hour more. then wash your hair.

your hair will be sooooooooo smoooooth.

good luck !!!!!!!

Tips on how to get silky smooth hair?

Try using Alberto VO 5 Hairdressing

Tips on how to get silky smooth hair?

To get Silky smooth hairs u just need to pay som attention to yr rough dry hairs,,,...

try this lol;..it'll help out..

here's a remedy:

''OR''

Add one-gram black pepper in 100 gm of curd and apply in the scalp. Now wash the hair with warm water once a week. The hair becomes black and beautiful and stops falling.

''OR''

What are some tips on hair growth and what to use ??

Some tips for hair growth would be to treat your hair well. Don't brush your hair while it is wet because that is when your hair is the weakest. When you're blow drying your hair, keep it moving constantly and finish blow drying on the cool setting. Try only washing your hair only every other day. This helps your hair to retain the natural minerals and health. Hope this helps! By the way, my favorite hair products are Thermasilk.

What is a good haircut for really curly hair?

My hair is really curly naturally, but it is very bulky and 'big' so I straighten it everyday. I would like to know if there is any hair styles or styling tips that would help me appreciate my curls more.

What is a good haircut for really curly hair?

I so know what you mean about your hair mine is just like that. But my stylist finally cut it the last time just right. Get layers that cascade to deal with the bulk and I had my hair thinned and trimmed to make it less big. Now I can deal with the curls and I don't spend hours using and iron. oh my hair is shoulder length now but I think this could work for other lengths. Also use some anti frizz serum.

The longer the better, when you have curly hair and its short you will have that poodle look. Just use products that keep your curls moisturized so they don't get out of hand. I wish I had some natural curl......Bone straight here :(

What is a good haircut for really curly hair?

Things to try would be layers and getting it permanently straightened. Permanently straightened is like a perm, just instead of making it curly, it makes it straight. According to my hair stylist, there are three kinds. I'm getting the light one first, then if I don't like those results, I'll try the medium one. The hard one is for really really really hard to brush African American hair.

How do I get my hair not to frizz w/ a blow dryer?

I've tried lots of different products and nothing seems to work to get rid of frizz. I was wondering if it was the blow dryer. I use it on high speed and hot temperature, so mab ee thats the problem. Also, how should i blow dry my hair. Any websites or tips whold help. Thanks!!!

How do I get my hair not to frizz w/ a blow dryer?

Exposure to heat damages the hair cuticle. Since the hair shaft is dead, once hair has been damaged it cannot repair itself. Hair dryers should be avoided but if you must use one use a diffuser and less heat.

How do I get my hair not to frizz w/ a blow dryer?

dove frizz controll works great on all types of hair and it's cheap.

How do I get my hair not to frizz w/ a blow dryer?

serum

How do I get my hair not to frizz w/ a blow dryer?

The heat from the blow-dryer can be frizzing your hair. Dry your scalp, and semi-dry your hair. In order to dry your scalp, put your hair in sections. Yeah, your temperature might be to hot for your hair.

If there is frizz, there Frizz-Ease, gel (apply to hair not, scalp, for it wil cause dry scalp flakes), Garnier's Sleek and Shine, and other frizz/sleek products. Make sure your wash with a clarifying shampoo to remove the build-up from the products (like gel or something that your can use to smooth down).

How do I get my hair not to frizz w/ a blow dryer?

depends on ure hair type for curly hair get a defuser (this thing that hook on the end) if u have straight hair then get a round brush and no matter what u always need to do cool or medium heat for any hair and on low it dries it out

How do I get my hair not to frizz w/ a blow dryer?

try using a diffuser. there may be some that you could connect right to your blow dryer. use it on low and this should help reduce some frizz. also a high quality anti frizz spray helps too.

How do I get my hair not to frizz w/ a blow dryer?

I had the same problem. I find that the more i take care of my hair the wrose it gets.

Frissy hair means cooked or dieing folicles. Don't wash your hair so often, it produces natural oils that smooth out the strands. Also when blowdrying, you have to be very active with it. If you blowdry really slowly, then your probably leaving it on one place for longer then is necessary and that reallly really frizzes your hair. Combing your hair when its wet is pretty bad to .. it just streches the strands %26gt;%26lt;!.

If you've ever straightened your hair you'll remember the hairdresser running the blowdryer really slowly with a brush with your hair inbetween. It works with them because they do put product,

Towel dry it to absorb as much water as possible (DONT RUB YOUR HAIR WITH THE TOWEL PROFUSELY!,). Don't comb your hair unless its one of those proper combs. When you blowdry your hair flick it around with your free hand, that can act as a thermometer. and don't hold the blowdryer to close to the scalp. It may take a while but its worth it. and you'll get use to it so before you know it you'll be a pro.

How do I get my hair not to frizz w/ a blow dryer?

i just put some mouse in mine and brush it while im drying it, hold the dryer up to your brush and keep doing that, only dry the part that you are brushing and run the brush thru really slow, start at the roots cuz the ends will dry really fast

How do you curl your hair perfectly?

oh you have stright hair yea that can be a problem but its okay because you can make it last it just needs more chemicals . i have the same problem.

first you apply hair serum so your hair doesnt damage much

2. strighten your hair just to get rid of the creases fm sleeping

3. Take a curling iron and twirl the iron facing down and leave it for a about 1-3 mintues. [make sure you part your hair 3ways] doing this allows the curls to twirl in a cute way

4. run your fingers through your hair to get rid of excess curls

5. hairspray

6. after 15 minutes you might want to hairspray again and spray about two mists of body spray on your chest and glide yoru fingers across your chest and rub it on your neck but only use a bit. the body spray will minimize any smell from the curling iron and plus youll fill touched up. my favorite is Victoria Secret Strawberries and Champane[$9]

What are some beuty tips for hair and face...i really want to grow my hair and give it shine?

Bare Minerals are great for the face, they don't look like make up once you put them on, they just make your face look flawless and glowing. For you hair there is a product called Shine, you will find it where you find hair spray and shampoo's. As for getting your hair to grow fast there is a shampoo you can order that is really good, the shampoo is French and the name is Accelre La Pousse des Cheveux, you can find it at www.drleonards.com or 1-800-785-0880. It is wonderful. I only use the shampoo because my hair is fine and it boosts the texture of my hair. If your hair is thick I would suggest you also buy the conditioner it is $19.95 per bottle, if you buy both it's $36.95 plus shipping and handling. It is worth every penny Hope this helps you

Any tips on caring for my daughters' toys' hair?

My daughters are 4 and 6 and love anything girly. So they have LOADS of Barbies, My Little Pony and Disney Little Princess Collection.

The problem I am having is with the hair of these toys. I hate it when it gets that matted, tangled look, but have a very hard time getting the hair to comb our without ripping the doll half bald. It seems that the ponies and princess dolls have the same type of hair and it's the worst about getting matted, while Barbie's is a bit softer and doesn't get as destroyed but still has issues.

Any tips for getting the tangles out and making the hair more manageable would be greatly appreciated!

Any tips on caring for my daughters' toys' hair?

The first thing is you actually have to brush the hair on a regular basis, or it will get tangled. With Barbies, I found that keeping the hair in a braid, or a pony tail helped keep it from tangling as bad as it would if you just let it fly all over the place. The other thing that can help is washing the hair occassionally, use baby shampoo and lukewarm water (not hot) and use just a tiny amount of the shampoo, make sure you rinse it well, and then lay the toy on a towel with the hair as flat as possible to dry. Don't try to blow dry or towel dry the hair. When it's dry, use a comb or brush to brush the hair.

If you are just dealing with a tangly mess, use Johnsons No More Tangles formula, it's safe to use on toys, will help get the tangles out, it's tear free (for the kids), and after you use it, just rinse the hair slightly so it doesn't leave a film on the toys hair.

Any tips on caring for my daughters' toys' hair?

teach your daughters to brush there hair more. thats weird, because i dont ever remember mine matting. and i would crimp there hair lol.

Any tips on caring for my daughters' toys' hair?

I dunno...... you could try getting your daughters to brush it more? I used to let my dolls' hair get matted, of course their hair was horrible when they went out on dates with Ken.

Do you have any tips for hair care?any hair care home remedies?

here are some home remedies which are very good for dry hair. i had dry hair myself but when i tried these tips it was great! they've never been dry again!

Dont go out and buy anything expensive.

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Beat up on an Egg: Separate the white of an egg from the yolk, and whip the white thoroughly. Then add 1 tablespoon of water to the yolk and blend until the mixture is creamy. Next, mix the white and yolk together. Wet your hair with warm water, remove the excess moisture, and apply the egg mixture to your scalp with your fingertips. Massage gently until the froth is worked into your scalp, and then rinse the hair with cool water. Keep applying the mixture until it is used up. Continue to rinse until all of the egg is washed away

Go for the Mayo: Heat up one half cup of mayonnaise until it becomes an oily, white goo and apply to dry, unwashed hair. Cover your hair with a plastic bag and leave on for at least 15 minutes. Then, rinse and shampoo thoroughly.

Mix up a Tropical Treat: Mash one over-ripe banana (the blacker, the better) with a mushy, rotten avocado. Massage this exotic puree into your hair and leave on for at least 15 minutes before washing out鈥n the kitchen sink!).

Grab a Cold One. Beer can give your dry hair a healthy sheen. Before you blow-dry or style, use a pump bottle to spray brew onto your hair. The beer will leave your hair shiny and sleek and its odor will disappear quickly.

In addition to using these home remedies regularly to avoid dry hair, try the following preventative measures:

Avoid overshampooing. Shampooing can wash away the hair's protective oils, so try washing less often and use a mild shampoo labeled "for dry or damaged hair."

Condition regularly. Conditioners protect the hair鈥檚 cuticle layer from splitting from the shaft. Pick a conditioner that works well for your hair and use it after every shampoo.

Wear a hat. Too much exposure to wind and sun can leave hair thirsty.

Trim off split ends. The biggest problem caused by dry hair is split ends. Schedule a trim every six to eight weeks to keep fraying ends under control.

Ease up on the heat. Heat (in the form of blow dryers, as well as straightening and curling irons) can quickly dry out hair. Let your hair air dry occasionally. Try using plastic cylinder rollers to straighten hair by wrapping slightly moist hair under and around rollers for about 10 minutes. For curling, try using sponge rollers overnight or sleeping with moist braids.

Don't swim without a cap. Use a rubber cap to protect your hair from the damaging effects of chlorine. If you must forgo a cap, rub a spoonful of olive oil into your hair before diving in.

also heres a very good website which could help you out with all hair problems!

http://www.pioneerthinking.com/hair.html

Good luck!!:)

Another thing is also putting in lotion in your hair after you have gotten out of the shower and you can also put in lotion in hair after you have dried it.

Just rub some lotion on your finger tips and run it through your hair evenly.

Also, something that will help your hair is to take COLDshowers. What most people dont know is that if you take hot showers, the heat gets rid of the oils and other things that your hair needs to be kept healty and shiney.

Hope this helps!

If this doesnt help just contact me and i can give you more tips for your dry hair!

Smash an avocado and mix with jojoba and peppermint oils. Make sure its really smooth you may want to put it in a food processor with a little water. Then apply some to your scalp and the rest on your hair. Massage for a minute or so then put on a plastic cap. Leave for 15 to 30 minutes. The avocado and jojoba oils will moisterize and the peppermint will stimulate your scalp to loosen any dead skin and open your pores. It will feel great. Your hair will grow better and won't be dry. :)

Do you have any tips for hair care?any hair care home remedies?

Once a month I used to use olive oil as a hot oil treatment on my hair. I worked really good, i would leave it on as long as i could stand it(maybe an hour) and wash it out. It really smoothes and moisturizes your hair. I use salon products now, but that always worked well too.

Do you have any tips for hair care?any hair care home remedies?

I have heared that eggs would make it shiney and beer is good to style it with, also suggar water is good for real high styling .I have never tryed it myself, like i said I heared that a while back. Siggi

Losing hair?

im male and im 19 years old when i 14 to 16 i started to lose

around 60 strands but when i was 17 to 18 i started to lose like crazy like 120 to 200 sometimes but now that im 19 im starting 2 lose around 110 hairs only when i wash my hair i use head %26amp; shoulders the white end tip of my hair is really small is that a problem help me am i going bald

Losing hair?

Probably because your using head and shoulders, it is crap, try using a better shampoo. If you have dandruff you will continue to have dandruff until you quit using H%26amp;S because it dries out your scalp.

If that doesn't work go see a doctor.

Losing hair?

it might be poor nutrition

Losing hair?

chalk it up to poor genetics. some guys start balding at a young age. But, don't despair, if you've got a nice shape to your head and cute face, a lot of guys look HOT with no hair.

For example, Chris Daughtry, Vin Diesel, Howie Mandel, etc

Losing hair?

It could be a couple things. Could be "good old fashioned male pattern baldness", could be a form of alopecia, which has nothing to do with male pattern baldness. Your best bet is to see a dermatologist to rule out anything abnormal, and find out for sure what is causing the hairloss. Just becuas eyou are male and losing hair does not mean it is male pattern. If you're not sure, go to your primary care, and get a referal to a dermatologist.

Losing hair?

you need to see a specialist for hair/may be alpecia/there r several kinds out there/

each year, sometimes twice a year hair falls out naturally and is replaced so usually there's nothing to worry about if you are healthy. If you are stressed out then eat more nutritious food or take vitamins with minerals. The amount of hair you have and how it reacts as you age is hereditary. If however you lose your hair then try something like rogaine. I've heard that it brings in fine hair. Or, if you go bald and don't want bald then you can get yourself some hair plugs.

Any Tips for Hair growth?

As many of you know, I am going to tell you the truth, as I know it, about hair. So the answer to "instant hair growth" is that there isn't any. There is no magic bullet. If you want to go from a short Bob to long flowing locks instantly than you do have some options, but depending on a variety of factors, they may be limited. Your best bet for overnight long hair is to consider hair extensions, clip on ponytails or long wigs.

Yes, there are lots of things that can maximize the potential of your hair growing cycle but it is absolute folly to imagine that you can go to bed one night with shoulder length hair and the next day wake up with a new inch of growth.

There are some very rare exceptions, but most hair on most people is genetically programmed to grow a maximum of 6 inches a year.

There are some people like Crystal Gayle who obviously grow hair at a much faster rate than the average human soul. However, she is definitely the exception and not the rule.

Types of Haircolor

Temporary - color lasts from one shampoo to the next and is deposited on the outside of the hair shaft.

Semi-Temporary - color lasts up to 4-6 shampoos.

Semi-Permanent - color is for masking white or light hair and lasts 2 to 6weeks.

Permanent - color formulas change the natural hair color. They require maintenance to new hair growth after 4 to 6 weeks.

(For the purposes of this guide we will be discussing

Permanent colors and methods of processing only.)

How it Works

Before any permanent color can be deposited into the hair shaft, the cuticle, or outer layer, must be opened. The insoluble formula then reacts with the cortex, or middle layer, to deposit or remove the color.

The color

is available in a variety of forms; creams, gels or tubes, or shampoos. These will not permanently change the hair color until they are part of an oxidation chemical reaction.

The Oxidizing Agent or Developer is hydrogen peroxide in one of various forms and strengths. lt is the catalyst or cause of the chemical reaction which allows the formula to permanently alter the hair's color.

The strength of the developer - is determined by the desired results and the manufacturer's directions.

10 Volume - Color deposit with only slight lightening.

20 Volume - Maximum color deposit as for gray or white hair with lightening

30 Volume - . Strong lightening action with less color deposit.

Bleaching Boosters - can be added to increase lifting action. Consult manufacturer's instructions

. Too much developer and the color may not have good highlights, cover poorly, not lift to the correct level and fade more quickly.

--------------------------------------...

This is the key to haircolor

The "color wheel"

If you know the color wheel color becomes easy...

It may sound a bit odd but your hair is a mixture of 3 colors; red yellow, and blue. These are the primary colors. Secondary colors are orange, green, and violet. If you look at the "wheel" a color opposite (directly across) will "negate" that color. This means if your hair is a orange color - green will make it a brown color. If you hair has a yellow tone, violet will cancel it out.

One of the most important elements of haircoloring is determining the hairs' "underlying pigmet." When you chose a color in a swatch book, your hair may not come out that color because of the underlying pigment in your hair.

Underlying color + Artifcial color = Final result

I will explain more about that later.

--------------------------------------...

First things first...

Tone: refers to whether a color is warm or cool. The warm colors(highlighting) are red, orange and yellow. The cool(ash) colors are blue, green, and violet.

Level: indicates the degree of lightnessor dakness of a color. Every color can be made either lighter or darker, thus changing the level, by the addition of white or black. Hair colors, both natural and color-treated , are classified by level from 1 to 10. 1 indicates black, and 10 indicates the lightest blonde.

Saturation: refers to the degree of concentration or amount of pigment in the color.

--------------------------------------...

Hair Pigment

A pigment called melanin is responsible for hair color. There are 2 types of melanin found in the hair. Eumelanin, is the most common type, it gives the hair shades from brown to black. Phaeomelanin, gives the hair yellowish-blond tones and ginger and red colors. Total absence of pigment produces white (grey) hair.

--------------------------------------...

Levels of Hair Color

1=Black

2=Very Dark Brown

3=Dark Brown

4=Brown

5=Medium Brown

6=Light Brown

7=Dark Blonde

8=Light Blonde

9=Very Light Blonde

10=Light Platium Blonde

--------------------------------------...

THE CORTEX

About 80% of the hair consists of elongated cells (corticle cells) of a fibroid structure (macro-fibrils, micro fibrils). The cortex determines the THICKNESS, ELASTICITY and STRENGTH of the hair. It is also responsible for housing all of the hairs' natural COLOR PIGMENTS.

COLOR PIGMENTS found in the cortical layer are in the form of minute melanin granules. These granulized color pigments are stored in tiny sacks called ALVEOLUS (ALVEOLI). In healthy hair, light reflected from the cuticle surface produces a soft sheen This sheen is referred to as "the transparency of a hair color." At the same time, the pigments gleam through the cuticle. This is what makes up the unmistakable shades of color in the hair. The cortex can be damages by:

1. TOO STRONG DEVELOPER (OXIDIZERS)

2. BRUSHING AND DRYING

3. PERMS AND NON-SUITABLE SHAMPOOS

This means that the haircolor does not last as long and that the hair becomes brittle, dry, dull and not easy to comb.

FINE HAIR Fine hair can be damaged easily as compared to thicker or coarser hair. Penetration of chemicals and products occurs faster on fine hair due to the fact that fine hair has less cuticle layers, and sometimes the layers themselves are thinner. The Haircolorist needs to keep this in mind when working with fine textured hair.

COARSE HAIR

Coarse hair is larger in diameter. Coarse hair will have more cuticle layers, and sometimes the layers themselves can be thicker. This type of hair is sometimes more resistant to haircolor and decolorization products.

--------------------------------------...

HOW AMMONIA. DEVELOPERS AND HEAT AFFECT THE HAIR

STRUCTURE

1. AMMONIA

Ammonia is used in permanent (oxidative) haircolor. When the permanent haircolor and the developers come together, the action of ammonia begins.

Like all alkaline, the ammonia has the tendency to separate the cuticle and allows the permanent haircolor to penetrate the cortex of the hair. The ammonia has an effect on the sulfur bonds of the hair. If the ammonia is too harsh, the hair will lose more of the sulfur bonds than necessary. It will cause the hair to harden, lose weight and diameter.

2. DEVELOPERS

The higher the volume of the developer, the greater the amount of sulfur is removed from the hair structure. This is one of the reasons why the limitations of the developers be maintained at 30 volume or less for the majority of haircoloring. When we lighten natural hair, the oxidation of the melanin will give a reduction of the natural pigments. Decoloration will have an effect on the natural pigments. They will act especially on the granular pigments and will act progressively as the action of the decoloration takes place. The granular pigments will transform into diffused pigments which explains the apparitions of the reflect more or less intense as the decoloration processes.

3. HEAT

High heat and the length of time high heat is used on the hair will also reduce the structure of the hair. The hair will lose its elasticity. Damage to the cuticle of the hair will make it more breakable. Steam will form inside the hair shaft which in turn will burst hair by breaking it. This is why we need to limit the amount of heat as well as the length of time you dry the hair.

--------------------------------------...

Problems and suggestions (a guide only) When coloring virgin or natural color hair start where the color is the darkest, This is usually the nape of the neck or at the crown

When the ends are faded use your regular formula except where the hair is too porous to hold color. Apply one level darker to the ends with a small amount of gold or yellow accent to provide warmth and highlights

The ends will not color (hold color) usually because the they are too porous and need to be filled before appplication of the tint formula. Use the color selected or 1/2 to 1 shade darker, with no developer added then apply. Then dry into the effected area of the hair. Apply your formula as usual and the color should hold.

Summer hair will not hold color because of the damaging effects of the sun, heat, or water. Increase conditioning repair to correct the porosity. Do this on a continueing basis.

When blonde hair becomes greenish because of chemical in swimming pools This can be corrected by using a warm (red or gold) accent. Also be sure to recommend a good clarifier (or clarifying shampoo)

A greenish cast will result when a blue based color is applied to yellow or gold hair. Substituting a violet based color will result in a more natural color.

When pre-lightening for red hair never process above the orange stage

When light reddish blondes turn orange as the color fades add a small amount of red-gold for highlights

Pink hairlines on gray hair tinted red require a small amount of natural brown the same level or darker to add depth. Apply color starting at the back of the head and add the additional brown for the hairline only.

When current color is darker than a new shade selected a color remover must be used to remove the old tint up to a level equal to the new desired shade

Color removers are designed to remove artificial color. They will not be effective for lightening virgin hair

"Washing out" and "removing" a tint are not the same. "Washing out" the tint is done at the end of the color process to remove what has not been absorbed into the hair. "Removing" the tint is taking the color out of the hair, usually in preparation for apllication of a lighter color

If hair is too red after using a color remover ash or violet accents may be added to neutralize unwanted warm tones

When hair is predominately gray start application where hair is the grayest. Use one shade darker than the target color. In the absence of any color in the hair, the shade will appear lighter

Very pale or processed hair has little or no red or gold pigment. Remember, highlights come from warm tones. It may be necessary to add warm accents (with no additional developer) to prevent colors from appearing too violet, too blue, or green; esp. where the hair is most resistant;ie. the hairline

On hair going increasingly gray a ligher color may be more desirable as the outgrowth is less noticeable

Pre-softening gray hair may be necessary if the hair is very resistant and coarse. Follow manufacturer's directionsand alway dry hair before applying the tint.Color applied to damp or wet hair will become diluted and the result will be unsatisfactory.

A resistant gray hairline should have the color applied firstand then again after the rest of the hair has been done. Consider increasing the process time within the limits of the directions. Possibily one shade darker could be applied to the hairline only.

To cover natural gray streak use one shade darker than the natural color. You may have to increase the process time.

A green cast on gray or pre-lightened pale yellow hair Adding a small amount of red or gold as an accent will cut the green.

Yellow bleed through on pre-lighten hair may occur when the tint shade is not dark enough. The color must be the same level or darker than the level of the hair.

Healthy hair tips:

Use a moisturizing shampoo condtioner and leave in creme. I reccomened Neutrogena Triple Moisture, shampoo conditioner and deep recovery hair mask. It nourishes and

revitalizes dry dull damaged hair to softer shinier healthier hair everytime you wash it, it might cost alot but it's worth it;

Reviews:

Neutrogena.com

If you dye your hair alot, leave your hair alone and wait to dye it atleast 3 years later or so. Hair dye has terrible chemicals that kill dry/damage your hair.

Brush your hair before shampooing and conditioner so your hair won't be tangeled and managable.

Comb your hair about 20 times each side so your natural oils can fall into the rest of your hair for natural shine

Don't wash your hair everyday try 3 times a week, Washing hair everyday strips the natural oils of your hair into duller dry hair.

Discontinue to heat style your hair or your hair will end up more dry/damaged, wait till it's completely healthy and maybe heat style once a week.

Avoid combing hair while wet, gently use a wide tooth comb, hair is very vulnerable while wet and can break off easily.

Don't put your hair into pigtails, buns or ponytails while wet, that causes split ends, breakage and damage.

Deep condition twice a week to bring back moisture to your hair.

Trim your hair tips every 4-6 weeks to promote healthy hair grow and prevent split ends from happening.

While shampooing massage your scalp with your fingertips slowly, not with your nails, nails damage the scalp and nails tend to be dirty. it's not necessary to shampoo the ends, then rinse with warm water to open the hair cuticles.

While conditioner leave on for about 2-4 minutes so you can get great results then comb hair with wide tooth comb then rinse with very cold water to help seal the hair cuticles.

If you use gel/hairspray/moose stop using them. They damage and dry up your hair because of the alchohol it contains.

If you use heat appliaces (blowdryers, curling irons, hair straightener) use a heat protecter spray so it'll protect your hair from heat.

If hair is really dry, go to the salon to get a deep treatment on your hair.

Once a month use a special deep conditioning treatment like olive oil, vitamin e oil, mayonaisse, eggs, hot oil treatment, castor oil, coconut oil almond oil or avocado.

Take multivimains, vitamin e, follic acid or prenatal vitamins to promote healthy hair growth.

Drink lots of water for shinier/healthier hair and eat lots of protein and healthy food like meat, milk, cheese, peanut butter, eggs pasta, cooked beans and raw vegetables.

If your in the sun alot buy a cap or a hoodie to protect your hair from the sun, heat damages and drys out your hair.

Buy a leave-in-conditioner/leave-in conditioner/creme to moisturize your hair all day long and don't rinse.

After your out of the shower set your blowdryer on cool setting and blowdryer your hair for 2 minutes, this will help seal the hair cuticles for a smooth shiny surface.

While combing hair, comb it gentle to avoid breakage.

I suggest using Garnier Fructis shampoo and conditioner. That, or Herbal Essences works great. Also, avoid washing your hair every day. For example, I don閳ユ獩 wash my hair on weekends. This helps to keep the natural oils your hair needs for moisture.

You might want to consider getting a trim and then using a hot oil treatment. If you can't get to the store right now, just look for olive oil in your kitchen cupboards, warm it up, and apply all over your hair when it's dry (don't put it on when your hair is wet, it doesn't work). Make sure you wash it out when it's done.

That's what I do! Works everytime!

First of all, try getting a trim to get rid of all of those dry ends. It will give your hair a healthier, fresh look. It's the best thing that you can do for it. If you need a quick fix, try putting just a little bit of conditioner in it after getting out of the shower, but not too much, or else it will make your hair look extremely oily.
